Good product, not greasy.

Easy to use and a decent value. Great smell and fun packaging. Did not quite make hair straight in high humidity but worked well in low humidity. I have very course, thick hair though.

I can’t tell if this works. My hair does look sleek after using, similarly to the colorwow, but it doesn’t seem to have heat protection, as I can feel hair damage. It smells strongly of vinegar.

So this is the generic brand to WOW. I have natural curly hair and in humidity it is a mess. I used to like to have my hair straightened but it seem to take so long for me to do it myself and within an hour it would be total frizz. This product was a life saver to me referred by a friend with natural curly hair as well. Its affordable and works excellent. I was hesitant at first but my friend gave me what was left in her bottle a one time use and I now wear my hair straight everyday and it protects from the heat as well.

This is one of my favorite products of all time. In my quest to master the "glass hair" look last year used the Color Wow version but never bought it as I stumbled across a review of Sleek saying it's just as good as Dream Coat. It also has protein which I'm pretty sure the Dream Coat doesn't have and my hair- well, wig as I have alopecia- needs all the protein it can get. ( I bleach and dye it an assortment of bright colors regularly.) In my opinion this is pretty much an exact dupe and works just the same as the Dream Coat.I first bought Sleek at Sally Beauty Supply but it sells like crazy so they were out, leading me to look to Amazon and thankfully I found it. I see some of the reviews talk about spilling and issues with the product but mine was packaged well with lots of bubble wrap and has no defects.My three holy grail straightening products (other than the at home keratin treatments I sometimes use) are this, the Drybar Liquid Glass smoothing serum, and IGK Good Behavior spirulina smoothing spray. Out of these the Hair Chemist Sleek is definitely my favorite with the Dry Bar serum spray coming in close second.In the pictures I show the wig I've been wearing. After bleaching in order to apply the vivid shades and considering the hair's natural wavy texture, it usually looks poofy after blow drying, no matter what blow dry serum/spray, brush, attachment or technique I use, and despite that my dryer itself is a salon brand and works very well. Then I started using this and BAM! Silky straight gorgeous hair only using blow drying. When I do choose to use a flat iron after drying my hair gets soooo unbelievably straight and glossy. (I'll try to remember to come back to update with pics of the hair flat ironed.) I was just so excited at how amazingly straight it got when using this product and just styling with a blowdryer!The effects only last about one or two washes and I think the package says 3 but that is not something I care about. All in all this is my holy grail heat styling product and I dread the day it's discontinued!

Product doesn’t work. I follow directions as well as hooked up the best way to use this product online as soon as I started blow dry my hair started freezing up. I tried to re-dip in the hair and put some more of this product on there. See if maybe I just had a fight enough and same thing terrible. I wish I could return it but it says it zero return partial return depending on how much I use so I guess I’m just stuck with it. Lesson learned

Love Sleek! It made my hair smooth and shiny. That says a lot since my hair tends to be frizzy and dull. It is very similar than the higher priced Wow! Save money and buy Sleek!
