Only £20 and it's more luxurious than my partner's robe that she bought from a health-spa for nearly 7-times the price.It's just so soft, it doesn't feel like cotton/polyester blend it feels like cashmere and cotton, seriously, it's really unbelievable how soft it is even after a few washes.It's also lightweight without being paper-thin so it's light and airy enough for summer but I will use it most of the winter too as it's warm and cosy when you wrap it around you and tie it up.Regarding the size, I'm a big guy, 198cm and 130Kg, I don't know what that is in 18th-century fluid ounces but it's pretty big, maybe 6.5 to 6.7 and 20+ stones, so I would usually need a 4XL but I took a chance on this as it was so cheap. Surprisingly, the US XL-XXL fits me perfectly.Oh, and it's very absorbent, not as much as a thick towelling robe but this good.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - My bargain of 2020. If the price increased to £60 I would still buy another, just in a darker color as my dogs will no doubt put dirty paw prints all over this. The best robe I've owned.

I’m a plus size woman (around size 30/32) and was looking for a lightweight cotton dressing gown. The usual plus size stockists had nothing suitable (who wants fleece in the middle of Summer?!) so I searched Amazon for plus size gowns and found this one. Although aimed at men it’s pretty unisex in style so I looked at the sizing chart and decided on the 5XL. It’s a great robe for the money and not a bad fit for me.It goes round me and comes down to mid calf (I’m 171cm tall). The only thing I can fault is the sleeves being a bit long but not massively so (the description showed that for a man’s gown the sleeves looked 3/4 but they come up full sleeve on me). The gown I received doesn’t have the white piping, which I’m pleased about because it looks better in plain black. Amazon should start doing these ‘essentials’ for women’s bodies as they’d be popular if fitting was more tailored to women’s bodies.

Rather good, only purchased for a quick trip to hospital, but it gave decent coverage and was plenty warm enough with a trendy waffle fabric.

I wanted a lightweight dressing gown to fit in my luggage when flying. This is lightweight but I don't really like the material. I ordered M-L but it is MASSIVE. Returned for a refund with no drama whatsoever from Amazon, thank you.

This is a good quality garment. It's warm but light enough not to be restrictive. I like to have a bath and never quite manage to get 100% dry in all those difficult to reach places. I can put this on and it lets the water vapour out. (I previously had a fleece one -- big mistake -- they contain all the damp.) This one is quote long -- mid calf length a little oversize. It suits me fine and I recommend it highly.

But the waffle pattern of this men's robe is more like slightly raised small squares embossed throughout the lightweight fabric that is not suffocating or thermic. This robe breathes, and is good for all day comfort here in air conditioned Florida. Up north, you might consider this a 'summer robe.'I wear XL for shirts, but usually go up a size when I buy online. I've purchased this robe twice using XL-XXL. It fits perfectly just below the shoulders. Arm length is right at the wrist cuffs. Length is at the shins with plenty of room to tie off waist. Quality stitching with white piping in lapel, pockets and wrist. Holds up well during machine wash/dry, keeps shape. Slight shrinkage.Highly recommended.Will buy again.

I got my hands on a different brand of robe that appears exactly the same, and it was just not good. Too expensive, not stretchy, and sized wrong. This Amazon Essentials robe solved the problem, because it is the exact style I wanted, looks great, but is sized appropriately, is made of a softer fabric (though it looks identical to the other robe), and there is some stretch to it as well, so when you raise your arms for example, it doesn't bind your shoulders up, but gives you room to move.The material is fairly thin, as it should be for a light robe, but it feels well made, and the seams and stitching all seem robust. Hopefully this will be a good robe for years to come.Good price, good quality, good material, good fit. Good deal!
