Decent for a beginner Bass
I am a 54 year old metalhead that is finally learning how to play the Bass guitar. I'm still very new and getting more comfortable each day playing. I'm around 7 weeks in. I have a really nice 40 year old shortscacle Bass but I also wanted a full size to learn on. So I found this one on Amazon. I read some of the reviews and decided to get one. The price is decent, just about 100 with shipping. It arrived in factory fresh condition in a decent Styrofoam lined box. The brand on the guitar is Garry. I've seen them listed too on Amazon and they look the same so I'm not worried about it.The guitar body is very light. The finish is nice and has no flaws. The neck is very solid and smooth. It felt top-heavy at first but I got used to it after the first time playing. It has been mentioned in other reviews about a gap between where the neck meets the body. Mine has a tiny gap too. I'm not worried about it. The neck is solidly attached. How it sounds. I plugged it in straight out of the box. Tuned the strings with a clip on tuner and started playing. It sounded good, like a bass. It just sounded like it was a little dull. I played with the knobs some and was ok with it. Every night I'm practicing with it, getting more comfortable with it and liking how it feels. I did put a better strap on as the one that came with it was not that comfortable.Last week I had it tuned/setup at a guitar shop. It made a noticable difference. I don't know all of what was done to it but it feels better. Strings are closer to the fretboard and comfortable to use. Other reviews mentioned replacing the strings. I didn't since I am still learning. The sound has improved too. It sounds like it has what was missing more depth, less dull. I definitely recommend a tune.I think this will last me long enough to save up for a really nice full size Bass.**UPDATE** I did replace the strings with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings. More comfortable and a slight improvement in the sound.

Not only is it visually stunning, with a sleek and modern design, but the sound it produces is simply amazing. The guitar is incredibly lightweight and easy to handle, making it perfect for beginners like my son. The neck is smooth and comfortable to play, and the strings are perfectly spaced, allowing for quick and easy finger movement. The pickups produce a rich, full sound that can be adjusted with ease to suit any playing style or musical genre. What I really appreciate about this bass guitar is the attention to detail that has gone into its design. The finish is flawless and the overall build quality is superb. In conclusion, if you're looking for a great bass guitar for a beginner or intermediate player, I highly recommend this 4 string electric bass guitar. It's a fantastic instrument that offers both great sound and excellent value for money. I'm confident my son will enjoy playing it for many years to come.

Absolutely worth it for the price.
I ordered this bass because it’s the cheapest full scale I could find on Amazon. And for the price, it’s unbeatable. At this price range really all anyone should care about it proper routing on the body and neck so it stays and plays in tune, and major functional defects. This bass is perfectly assembled out of the box, and the finish and hardware look great. For under $100, this is way more than anyone could ask for in today’s market. My only issue is the action being way too high out of the box. It’s still playable, but uncomfortable with the high action.Another huge plus, is this bass was perfectly intonated out of the box. I feel like this is a major win for beginners who don’t necessarily know how to set up an instrument. All in all, I bought this thing for my friends who play bass so they could jam with me on guitar when they come over. And it does this job perfectly.
