I had a beloved down comforter from Pottery Barn, and I used it every winter for many years. Then I got a puppy... who peed on it not once, but twice! So I decided once it was dry cleaned for the second time that I just wasn't taking any more chances. Then warm weather came and I didn't need it. It's getting cooler now though, so I ordered a different down-alt comforter... which was WAY TOO HOT with aforementioned pup-pup in bed with me. So I ordered this one, and it is JUST RIGHT!It's so soft, and lightweight, and fairly thin, but still warm -and breathable! I intend to put it in a cover (aforementioned puppo is a shedding machine), but currently it's just under the summer quilt, and we are super snug. I am actually writing this review from my bed!One thing that's great even though it's no big deal is that upon removal from the package, the comforter did not have some weird chemical smell you get so often. The packaging was lightweight too, and included a cute little note from the company.I'm very very pleased. The outer fabric is soft, smooth, attractive feeling, with nice edging all around and long channels sewn in to keep the batting in place. I got the queen size and it's quite generous, but not so big it won't fit in my duvet covers.Haven't washed it yet, so if there's a terrible defect upon doing so, I'll revise my rating, but at this point I'm giving it 5 enthusiastic stars. If you're looking for lightweight warmth for in-between seasons, or you sleep hot, or like me you share you bed with warm furry creatures who put off heat themselves, this is the comforter for you!

LOVE MY DUVET INSERT! I was looking for new summer bedding, something lighter and soft. This insert is definitely a match! It arrived tightly rolled, wrapped in clear plastic. There was no weird smell and had no other imperfections upon inspection. It's the PERFECT size for our standard queen size guest bed, with just enough to hang over each side. If you have one of those very thick, extra layered mattresses I do not believe this 86x86 would do the job (it would not cover your mattress sides completely). It is very thin, which is what I hoped for, and looks great in the new duvet we also purchased. It's also enough weight and warmth to not warrant extra layer of blanket on top. Wish I would've bought two because it was such a great deal at $15.27 (believe they're selling them at $19.99 now).GREAT VALUE, SHIPPED QUICKLY & CAME EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED:)

It is very light and just right for mildish winters in south Texas. Reminds me of my trips to Europe and my first duvet in Zurich. Young Texas guy wasn't completely sure what that critter was but it sure kept him warm. Very much recommend a duvet cover or it can slide off the bed. Beats the pants off of blankets because it is light weight and very very cozy and stays put. Very happy, happy, joy, joy.

Got it because it was cheap and I needed something fast. It’s better quality than I expected. Have had to wash it four times already, and while there is a little bunching of the stuffing, it’s still pretty good for the price. The size is a bit odd. It’s doesn’t fit my queen duvet cover properly (too small). It’s soft, comfortable, and fairly light weigh.

I liked that it was not thick and heavy. It’s perfect for summer or winter. I am ordering a second one. Also washed it on gentle cycle and it came out great.

This was what I was looking for in weight, size and comfort. It was lacking any ties so it could remain in place inside the Duvet and not slide around or slide down.

Okay-I purchased this because I bought a beautiful Duvet. I looked at it in it's package and went 'OH NO' how in the heck am I going to stuff this in the duvet without a struggle. Solution: I went to YOUTUBE and found several kind ladies demonstrating easy and quick methods. I found the right one and had the comforter in the duvet in about 5 minutes...then discovered I had ordered a full instead of a queen. Oh well. It's lightweight, great for summer and will be fine for the winter too. I might go ahead and order a queen and use the one I bought as a secondary over the sheets, or to sleep on. Highly recommend. Be sure to order the right size.
