RackPath 2U Vertical Wall Mount Rack - Heavy Duty 125lbs Capacity Vertical Mounting Bracket

This is a very neat idea! You want to make sure you're connecting to a solid surface like plywood but you can hang a full blown 1U server flat against the wall or a network switch and make all your wiring pretty. Solid construction and design.

Had to add an additional switch in a wiring closet where the one switch was screwed to the wall with the rack mount ears at 90 degrees. Put this up, dropped the old switch in it and added the new one. Looks good, nice and simple install.

This mount is anchored to a cement basement wall, and holds up my UPS perfectly.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I got this, there's two ways to mount the rack as per the description and instructions. I chose to try a different way, not knowing if it would hold it the way I wanted it to. My server is about 80 pounds and I have mounted it in a way that is not described in the instructions, and so far, no problems.

This mount feels sturdy, but the hinges get in the way because the hinges are right on top of the 16" mount holes. If you're mounting to a plyboard, it would work fine to use the other holes, but if you're trying to mount to studs, like I was, it isn't going to happen.

Sturdy mount. Used 2 of these to mount a 2U server to the bottom of my desk.Works great for a single machine. Would probably work great for a router and switch install as well.Took some off as the included hardware is very soft and had 3 screws shear when trying to install.

My two chief design complaints area) the mounting holes aren't 16" apart and the ones in the folding portion of the rack are difficult to get to at any rateb) why bother making the arms foldable in the first place? Its 2U, no point.Once I got the thing mounted on the wall, it perfectly holds my 2 1U rack items and keeps it out of the swing path of the door its adjacent to, so the size was perfect for me.

Worked as advertised. Came with rack and mounting screws. Will purchase again when needed.
