I buy these pull back cars for my grandson when I visit and he loves them. They go pretty fast and straight. We race them down the hallway! Color is bright. Doors open and close easily, which my grandson is obsessed with testing out. I will buy again, and again. My grandson is counting on it.

I only wish it came in convertible!

Bought this as a gag gift for my husband for his birthday. He has always wanted a Mercedes. He loved it and keeps it on his desk. Will be a perfect toy for my grandson when he visits.

I have a friend who checks on my house up North while I am away for the winter months in Florida. He is very conscientious about stopping by weekly, checking on things both inside and outside, but he refuses to let me pay him anything, even when I insist. I take him and his wife out to a very nice restaurant each year when I return, but that never seems enough. However, I think I may have found the one thing he WILL let me get for him: a new car!Of course, not a BIG one; I'm comfortable in retirement, but I'm not rich. My friend loves model cars and has several classic types in his collection. This particular item, a Mercedes-Benz AMG GTS, is not the "gull wing" Mercedes; he has that one already. This is a performance sports car, classic black, with doors that open normally, great detail on the chassis and tires, and by the way, it can RACE, thanks to a pull-back mechanism which runs on friction, not electricity. I think he will really like how well this model replicates the original. And now that I have found something he will accept, I will be adding to his collection each year with more "classic cars".(Hey, I wonder if he'd like a Lamborghini...?)
