OK, I have just opened box & used it for a couple of hours, so I can't comment on longevity. However, so far it's a great value. Plays everything I can imagine I'll ever want to play. I have a large music collection of mp3 files on a USB flash drive, and it works perfectly. Of course it handles cd's and though I don't have any right now, it also will work with the mini-sd cards. Nice compact size, good volume --- it's in living-room and I can hear it while in the kitchen. Earphones can be connected if I don't want to bother the neighbors. The remote controls everything, so easy to switch from CD to USB to FM radio & switch between stations without leaving my rocker. I'm happy as a pig in 'you-know-what.'

This little thing is incredible. It's sound quality is fantastic, it has cd, aux, radio and Bluetooth. It plays mini cd's that kpop albums have as well. This is worth every single penny and one of the best purchases I've ever made. The remote is a plus too!

The media could not be loaded. It definitely is bigger than I expected and it plays perfectly fine. I just tested it out during the night when everything is quiet so on the lowest setting it’s pretty loud and clear. I have to wait until the next day to try it out again.Don’t expect batteries to come in cause they don’t. They need AAA batteries.I got no complains but we shall see further on.Edit:I did have to return it. For some reason when I played certain disks it would pause a lot. 1-3 secs pause which got annoying throughout every song so I had to return it. Maybe mine was defective. It was loud and it did the job but that pausing was something I did not like 😫

I bought this for my kids to use at night in their room. We wanted for the to be able to listen to music or white noises. But didn't want them to have a smart device, or something they could mess with too much. This was perfect. Super easy to mount. Looks great in their room. FYI, MOST of the controls are on the remote. There are very few buttons on the actual player.Also, if you really care about the audio quality, the speakers are not great. They get the job done, and are sufficient loud. The audio quality is not distracting. But I wouldn't expect to have a premium listening experience from this player, if that matters to you.

Great affordable cd player! My 3year old can easily use this to play the cd storybooks I’ve found for her plus it has Bluetooth functionality so we can play stuff from the phone too. My only complaint is that whenever you turn it on the volume is maxed out but not a deal breaker.

I've had this item for 4 years. It's really worth the money. The sound quality is good.

I wasn't sure which of these to get, as I hadn't used one before. Have a Bose I used a lot at one time and now really just for the soft sounds at night & the wake up, the CD player of which is now having skip problems just due to age. I wanted something simpler & didn't expect spectacular, same quality sound, but with some reviews, I thought this would suffice. When I played first CD, to me, this is about the equivalent of an old AM radio sound - little or not bass, basically ok to use in the office, in the kitchen by the sink while cleaning up or a small area at lower volumes. To put it simply, it's easy to use, I like the remote, but just don't expect stereo sound. If you need a simple thing at your work cubicle or something like that, this would be ok. Also find some things lacking in the directions, but that's minor. Often other folks can't believe I'm still using CD's at all. :)

I hooked it up with my nice speakers and I listen to CDs a lot more.I saw some reviews complaining about the poor quality of the speaker sound. And yes they are right. It does not create sound you want to listen to if you want to enjoy music CDs. But this little device has the AUX port that supports input and output, connect the output to a nice set of speakers and you get the sound as awesome as your speakers can make. On the flip side, you won't be able to connect an input device and a different device for output at the same time to use speakers as output.The bluetooth works seamlessly as well. Once you switch to the bluetooth mode, it pops in the pairable devices as "CD player" and connects to the phone right away. The audio from my phone was coming through the cd player when it was in the bluetooth mode and though phone's speakers when cd player was switched the mode to something else. Switching back to the bluetooth mode on the cd player made the sound come through the cd player again without re-pairing or reconnecting.Also, this is the one that had the cover for the CD. It doesn't seem to be that necessary to have the cover but in case something gets splashed over!
