This screen protector is amazing. Dropped a heavy chunk of metal directly on my phone (a motorcycle frame) and my phone came out unscathed.

I’ve always put screen protectors on my phones going back several years. It acts as a sacrificial layer against scratches l, cracks, and other screen damage. That and a case are the cheapest and best insurance for your phone. I used to get them at a store where everything is below five dollars, the. I found them at the $1 store. I liked them so much I bought them for friends and family. I gave one to my manager once, and several months later she thanked me because she had dropped her phone in her driveway and the protector had shattered, but the screen itself was fine.THERE IS NO READON NOT TO HAVE A SCREEN PROTECTOR.After having put on several myself over the years, I find the hardest part is properly lining up the layer with the phone. I bought this mostly for the alignment fixture. It helped tremendously, though the glass layer was a tad larger than the opening of the fixture.The screen protector itself, I have mixed feelings about. It came out with bubbles under the screen; even after squeegee-ing some still remain. (Edit: the few that remain appear to be due to trapped dust particles that found their way in, even after using the anti-dust sticker.)By contrast I used the fixture with a dollar-store screen protector and it came out perfect. (Edit: on this one I also used the alcohol wipe that was included with it. The Jetech did not include one, but I have plenty laying around I could have used.)See the photo; the one in the left is this brand; the one on the right is the dollar-store variety. Both were installed using the fixture.The bubbles are t so bad, and I only really notice them if the screen is off or dark. But it is annoying and a bit disappointing that it’s no better than a $1.25 item available locally.

Worst screen protectors I have purchased by far!!!!! The tool to align the screen was cool but they don’t have proper dust stickers and I think there was already dust on the product because I was in the bathroom with the shower running and did everything exactly how it said and both times the screen has had dust under it and I have been installing screen protectors since I worked for Geek Squad in 2011 so I know what I’m doing. This is just a horrible product and when it does crack it shatters into a ton of tiny pieces that stick out from the adhesive and will get into your fingers. Extremely disappointed and I purchased less than a month ago….
