Just do it
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my bf who loves Halo. When he opened it he was so excited! He relived his teens for about an hour, talking about Halo 2, before he opened any other presents. For a second, I could see him turning to a child LOL. His comments are that it's nice and sturdy, just wishes it would light up and make sound, but we could rig that up ourselves. He's an adult, he's on the bigger side, but even his big man hands fit nice. All in all, it was a great buy. He now just has it on display. I was glad enough to make him happy and watch him enjoy himself!

Big hit with my nephews
It was just what I expected and my nephews love them. They are very sturdy yet lightweight, almost nerf-like, so they aren't likely to hurt each other. But this material should be durable as long as they keep it away from the cats & dogs. Not sure about the value for the money but I guess $30 is the going rate for such popular game costume paraphernalia. I would purchase them again if I had a do-over. ;)

It's a solid toy that my son loves but the paint is very thin and flakes off easily

My grandson is just crazy about this. I got this for his birthday and he can't stop playing with it. Found a good price on amazon.

Happy Grandson
I purchased this for my 5yr old grandson to go with a Halo costume for Halloween. My grandson loved it. However the sword being more than half his height, his father has to carry it towards the end of trick or treating. Oh, well, goes along with being a parent

Smaller but costs the same
We have the bigger, light up version but my kid wanted one he could be a little more rough with. So we got this, with the understanding that it would be sturdier but that it may get broken from harsher play. It’s a little smaller and not as durable so I’m not sure how long it will last.It’s overpriced and expensive considering you can get the bigger light up one for the same cost, so that’s kind of disappointing. I wanted to send it back but my kid wanted to keep it. See pics, this one is for the SMALLER one in the photo.The detail in it is still good, and my kid says the handle feels better in his hand, maybe cause it’s small.

My youngest wants to be master chief from Halo for Halloween this year. I found this sword cheaper than from the Halloween costume website. It is very light weight.
