Q: Do these come with instructions how to use? I’ve never grown mushrooms before

Our Mushroom spawn comes with cultivation instructions telling you what temperature to store it as well as incubation and fruiting conditions and suitable substrate but it is not a grow kit if you look at our other items you will find a ready to grow kit this comes ready to fruit with full instructions I would recommend this kit first before buying spawn but we do offer free after sales advice with all our items if you wish to start with spawn.

Q: Are these spores that can be used/ added onto more woodchips?

Hi, Yes I had these a couple of weeks ago and added them to sterilised and fully soaked hardwood pellets ( must be hardwood ) in a mushroom bag. Give the spawn a good mix in the bag so it is fully mixed and then fold the top of the bag so the breathable patch is still open and leave in a dark warm cupboard for a couple of weeks until the bag is fully colonised ., I just put mine to fruit today as it happens. There are plenty of YT videos showing the process but the most important bit is to make sure everything is kept as sterile as possible wear gloves or wash hands properly before doing this so as to not contaminate the bags or pellets etc and you should be good to go.
