Alphabet Pasta Noodles - 3 Lb Tub

My three year old daughter requested alphabet soup for dinner, and image the horror when after I cooked and plated up the dish, she pulled out a "Q" and a "3" and said "Daddy, what does this spell?"It spells disaster, daughter. An alphabet soup with numbers in it? A heinous act. I apologized profusely, but she has yet to leave her room. The noonday sun shines on me like midnight and shame haunts me like the reaper.I do not know how my family will ever recover.

I use to buy them all the time. We all loved them when we were kids, we still do.

These were exactly what we wanted. My son and I wanted to make chicken alphabet soup as a project for one of his homeschool lessons. I was worried because they were so small that they would overcook and be mush. We simply cooked them separately until they were al dente and added them in the bowls as we were serving. It was a hit for the entire family, including friends that were there after school. And the pasta itself tasted good too. 10 out of 10 would but again.

Just what we wanted!

I love this big tub of alphabet pasta. I cooked a whole thing at once and made homemade "Spaghettios" that I froze in portion sized bags. Perfect for an easy at home lunch. The letters are very small, so not great if you want them for crafts, but not so tiny as to be unrecognizable (my youngest likes spelling out the family's names in her bowl.) It also holds up very well to being frozen and thawed in the tomato sauce.The only reason I knocked off a star is because it didn't come with any suggesting cooking times or instructions so I had to guesstimate and constantly test so I didn't end up with an overcooked mess (about 7-8 minutes for the record.)

My son asks for alphabet noodles almost every weekend and it seems that the jar is bottomless ! The taste is great and it's not soggy like other alphabet pastas. Good value!

I bought these for my 1 year old daughter. They are just the right size for her to eat with out having to cut them up for her, but not so small that she has trouble picking them up. They cook quickly and taste great. I've used them in a few different dishes for her and will absolutely purchase more when we do run out. Oddly, alphabet noodles were not easy to find in a typical grocery store in my area.
