Good item...especially if you know your chemistry
I bought this as a bit of a Layman as I wanted to measure the viscosity of my liquid. I researched and determined that the Cup1 was appropriate for my liquid type. The item is as described, it was packaged well and easy enough to use. Where I struggled (hence 4 star and not 5) is that I found the formula difficult to work out so I had to research a bit online. For the record, my time of liquid outflow was 28 seconds - so K of 1.1 x (29-28) resulted in a negative number. This as I found out was not a possible outcome so I deduced that the nearest outcome was cSt 1 - akin to water. I thought that was the case before I tested and now I know...it just took me, a simpleton, a long time to figure out.

Seems as accurate as any Zahn cup, which is to say not terribly accurate
It's really a nicely made cup, and the inaccuracy isn't BAOSHISHAN 's fault, it's inherent to the nature of Zahn cups in general. It's a really imprecise way to measure viscosity, but coatings manufacturers continue to spec using Zahn cups, so until they come into the 21st century there's not much we can do about it.This cup is pretty nice, and after a couple of pulls to get back in the habit, I can get a set of readings that repeat within about 15%. Which is about as good as I've ever done.It does read about 20-30% higher than another cup I have here, but that doesn't surprise me at all given what the old cup has been through. These numbers are probably better.Although I've had numbers jump around by 30% or more when using different brand cups in the past, so I just consider the Zahn readings to be one of several data points to consider in determining if a coating is appropriately thinned. I mostly use the readings as a starting data point, and then to help maintain consistency through batches. (As long as one considers +/- 10-15% to be consistent :-). )Enough bellyaching, back to this review - good product at a fair price!

Just what I needed
I use this when I spray my crafts, No more guessing on wether the liquid will spray in my LPHV gun.
