ITS SO CUTEEE
After I saw the reviews of missing pieces I was really hesitant to buy this but honestly it was a great decision. I was scared I would have missing pieces but ended up having all of them if not more. I definitely do think there can be missing pieces to this beautiful set, but it’s worth it to take the risk of getting it! 🙂↕️

Tons of Fun, Great Brick Quality
This was my first foray into ``alternative interlocking brick system construction sets'' and I have to say, I was greatly impressed. The quality of the bricks is very high, comparable to Lego, and assembling the set took time from just how many pieces there were, but the fit was pretty much never a problem. The best part, by far, was just how creative of a set it was, and how many pieces you got for your money. Truly stellar, and I hope others have as much fun building it as I did.

Amazing high quality much better than Lego
This is an amazing little set to build it came in such a high quality box you could easily store or display it was thorough and well designed it was SOOOO much fun and really cool to look at I was hoping it wouldn’t look too bulky or cheap and it doesn’t I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s such higher quality than Lego in design storage and bricks it was super fun to build not frustrating at all and looks amazing!

Clever and Beautiful, With Minor Flaws
The short review: some problems, but you get high-quality bricks, lots of clever design ideas, and a beautiful finished model for a great price. The longer review for brick geeks:Packaging: Heavy duty, embossed cardboard with really attractive graphic design.Stickers or prints? One sheet of stickers, no prints.Bricks: The bricks are quite close to Lego in look and feel. No molding defects or unually large injection points, some micro scratches but nothing outrageous or distracting, two large clear window parts are bagged separately but most clear pieces come in bags with other parts, clutch power is generally a bit tighter than Lego (think Cobi). Unlike Lego, there are no quality control issue with color consistency: all bricks of each color match each other well.Manual: Problematic. The steps will be clear to an experienced builder, but the color reproduction of the dark browns and blacks is so dark that even in good light under a magnifier it can be hard to tell if the part being called for is a tile or studded plate.Building Stages and Steps: Two stages (about half the bags for each stage), with a little over 200 steps total. One paper manual.Lighting: Simple and reasonably effective, just a string of very tiny LEDs spaced at regular intervals on a wire attached to a little dongle with a button that cycles through light modes (flashing, fading, always on, etc.) and a USB-A plug. No battery option. The light strand is strung through small pieces throughout the structure to give it a generalized interior glow when viewed from the outside. Unfortunately, the lights are so bright as to almost shine through the white exterior wall bricks. There are no individually lit bricks.Design:Two flaws: Firstly, the second floor and roof are not modular and removable as you'd expect, which limits viewing and access. A big oversight.Secondly, the outer walls barely interlock at the corners as they should (something any child Lego builder learns), so stability while building the second storey is problematic. BUT, the overall design is beautiful, filled with clever details and interesting building techniques (the vending machine is a standout, but the AC units are also really cool, no pun intended, as is the black and white sign in front). This set has so much character and charm, and while not every design decision is great, it's clear a lot of thought and love went into creating this. The whole aesthetic is very clearly not Lego, and that's a great thing, since Lego tends to fall back on very conservative, safe, stereotypical design ideas. This is clearly its own thing, and a beautiful thing at that.Based strictly on its technical merits and problems, I'd rate this 3.5 stars if I could, but because the build is generally very fun, and the finished result is so attractive, I'm comfortable bumping it up to 4 stars to account for the intangable wow and fun factors. Recommended to experienced builders.

Recommend! Really amazing set for a non Lego brand
I've been skeptical with a lot of knock off Lego sets, as I've purchased a few and often there are pieces that have very minute irregular sizes that don't quite fit well together, or run a risk of missing pieces. That was not the case here, at all. This set took me over 3 hours, and I just left a show on while building it. The design is very clever, the way the pieces are arranged to create the aesthetics here are very detailed and well thought out. For example, the yellow piece in front of the vending machine is to resemble the paths on Japanese sidewalks that have bumps meant for blind people. That is the kind of detail I am talking about. The little air conditioners, the computer, the bed, it's all so cute and I was so intrigued to see what the combinations were going to become. The instructions are very clear and well drawn, and the entire build is split into two sections for the bottom and the upper section of the apartment. Throughout the whole build whenever I couldn't find a piece, I immediately worried it was a missing piece, but each time turned out it was just hidden among the pile.I can tell the designer was someone who really loved Lego and just wanted to share their personal design. They didn't skimp on the quality of the pieces at all, and I will definitely be buying another set from them.

Fun!
Got this as a birthday present for my little sister. She wanted it and had a lot of fun building it. All pieces were shipped and easy to follow instructions!

Beautiful design but, like others, I too had some missing pieces, and
So, the stairs to the 2nd floor? Is anybody else noticing they don't "join"? I had to put my stairs out one row of pegs and add pieces to get the stairs to line up and actually reach the second floor. It is a really cool design and I want to buy more from the company, but they are too expensive to have missing pieces and weird moments where the instructions show stairs reaching the 2nd floor, and they don't ...
