Cold Sore Red Light Device, Reusable Canker Sore Treatment Device for Pain Relie and Oral Sore Lip Sore Management, Reduce Pain and Rejuvenate Skin

I was very skeptical getting this, but I am SO GLAD I did! I get canker sores primarily when I'm stressed. Over the last 5 weeks, I have had 18 canker sores. The biggest has been dime sized, the others average the size of a pencil eraser. To says I was miserable and in pain is an understatement.I bought this in desperation. I used it 2-3 times a day and noticed a drastic improvement! The pain immediately was relieved. I could actually eat and drink without pain. The sores cleared up in a few days, which usually takes two weeks. When I feel a new sore popping up, I start using the light right away. Within two days the spot is gone and never fully develops!I talked to my dentist about it, they were encouraging and said to keep using it. I am using it in combination with prescribed mouth rinses, but I am noticing more relief and faster results than just medication alone.10/10 I would buy this again!! My only, very small, wish is that this was slightly angled on the end. Most of my sores are on my soft pallet, so an angled head would be helpful. However, I can make this work and have not had a spot that I cannot reach.

I only get maybe 1 or 2 cold sores a year, ever since I was a young child, thanks to a relative that had one and shared a cup with me. These flare-ups generally last 2 weeks at a time, no matter what commercial remedy they advertise that shortens the duration. Fortunately for this review (and unfortunately for me), I got one not long after getting this unit. It charged fairly quickly, comes in a great zippered hard case, WITH a wall adapter (a plus). This device is easy to hold, the light head can be rotated due to the design of the connection (a great idea with the internal rings), and easy control panel. I used it twice a day, at their recommended 1cm distance (which is almost contact), and it automatically turns itself off (the light beam) after 1 minute, which is all you're supposed to need. After 2 days, the cold sore did not grow any larger (I hit it as soon as I felt the small bump on the lip), and by day 3, it was virtually gone. I'm a skeptic with a lot of these types of things, and will still be with this unit, until I test it again on the next flare-up, and if it performs the same way it did this time, then I'll be convinced this is a genuine problem solver.

I was skeptical at first but I gave it a try and I realized I was wrong .. it really help me whit two sores and I tried on my chin acne as well and ..omg it worked better than my acne night cream . Now my sores are healed and I use it on my hormonal acne sometimes to reduce inflammation and redness. It’s part of my beauty routine at night

There were no instructions for how to use this product at all in the packaging and it would not charge. The battery light kept blinking. To make matters worse, I went to return the item and it said they would not allow returns. Be warned.Don’t waste your money.

Unsure if this product actually works or not. My sister got a cold sore and it didn't do anything. No help whatsoever.

Red light therapy (RLT) has been around for 50 years, and many studies have been performed that show RLT has many health benefit. Red and near infrared light are thought to act primarily on the mitochondria of cells, leading to greater energy production. Any cell that has mitochondria will, in theory, see some benefit from appropriate light therapy. RLT uses visible spectrum from 600nm to infrared spectrum of over 800nm for different levels of tissue penetration.I have many RLT devices that includes, wrap, belt, lamps, torches, and panel. One problem with all the RLT devices is there is no standard way to quantify what works. It is base on personal experience.For LitePow canker sore devices, it feels cheap. The whole device is plastic even the head. It has a built in internal battery. If there is a problem with the battery units then the whole is a junk since you cannot replace the battery. User interface is simple with two buttons operation. One problem is you can not change the power setting during usage. To change the power output, you will need to turn off the light and start over.As for effectiveness, it has not yet shown any benefit of using it. Again, like I said before, there is no industry standard to quantify what works and what not. At dental office, we have diode laser machine that can help reduce the outbreak of canker sores. We use the red laser at 1.3-1.5W intense pulsating red laser for 10-15 min 1-3mm over the tissue to really see good result. If the area is large, the treatment time is expanded to 20-30min and more if needed.I do not see any immediate improvement by using LitePow canker sore device with just 1 min each treatment session. Maybe it will take a few days like the product description indicates to see result. But after a week, canker sore will heal naturally anyway.For $135 at the time of the review, it is way more expensive than some of my high power tactical LED flashlight which feel 100 times more solid with aircraft grade anodized aluminum body. Best I can give is 3-star until I can see real result from using this RTL device.

I had my device for a little over a month when it stopped working properly…let me just say…hands down this company has top notch customer service!!! They communicated via email with me and with in 3 days I had a brand new device delivered to my door and the keep me informed with the shipping. Will definitely buy from them again!
