Excellent product for my Texas Instrumnet Calculator

I purchased the TI-84 CE color graphing calculator about a year ago, and it worked great until the battery stopped charging after summer. We noticed the battery had bulged, and instead of paying another $100+ for a new calculator, we opted to replace just the battery. It arrived well-packaged, and swapping it was incredibly easy! Now, the calculator is working perfectly and holding a charge for days. If you run into a similar issue, don’t toss your calculator—just replace the battery! This simple fix saved us a lot of money.

We bought my daughter a TI-84 plus CE at the beginning of the 2022 school year. We tried turning it on to start the 2024 school year and it would briefly flash an OS message, then proceeded to flicker faintly with a white screen. We tried charging it overnight, multiple variations of pressing the reset button and holding the 2ND and DEL key. It remained uncooperative. SO - we looked for a new battery - even though a two-year lifespan seems short (that message is to YOU, Texas Instruments). We wanted an exact replacement (even though we may be doing this again in two years). This battery turned out to be an exact replacement, AND, perhaps more importantly, the calculator is working again now that we’ve installed the replacement. NOTE - I was a little hesitant to order this battery because the Amazon image shows Model 3.7L1200SPA (all other specs matched) but the battery in my daughter’s TI was a 3.7L1200SPB. The battery I received is a 3.7L1200SPB - so not sure why the image is different. However, what I received is an exact match, and it resolved the issue with the calculator. I added an image of the batteries and the calculator.

I purchased a TI 84 Plus CE graphing calculator for my teen in July 2022. He used it the entire school year, but then didn’t need for fall semester 2023. When we got it out in January 2024, it wouldn’t charge and kept erroring out.My TI 82 from the late 1990s only recently died which made it frustrating that a new model would have issues so soon. Searching online, others indicated that the battery may need replacing. I ordered this one and, thankfully, it worked perfectly. The calculator immediately turned on and was useful again. He’s been using it all semester without issue.While I’m glad we found this, I hope we don’t have to regularly replace these batteries.
