Failures I read about -detachable cord burning , panels dying.This would probably pass safety testing except for cord. Indoor use only.This is constructed with 1 watt LEDs running at 0.45 watt each so the diodes are not stressed, Each light bar is approximately 44 watts so it toggles between 260, 400, and 490 watts..Plants are doing extremely well. I had to raise the light from 2ft to 4ft because they were TOO bright. Why spend 0.90-1.80 per watt on a name brand (SF Mars, Vivosun, AC Infinity etc)? Get this for $0.36 per watt.

For the price it's an awesome light I mean awesome been through my first well I've been through two girls I guess since I got it works great especially for the money you can beat it

This light is HIGH INTENSITY! I had to strap it to the ceiling to get the levels right! But let me tell you, the plants absolutely love it and keep growing towards it, and they are HUGE. This light is an excellent value for the money. I do wish it had a dimmer or some ability to toggle manually, and I’d buy another if I could daisy chain! It’s cool that it has the temperature guard to keep your plants from getting too hot but honestly this light gets nowhere near that, even in an enclosed space.Anyway if you’re growing on a budget and can’t afford a $600 light, this one can absolutely do the job. I’ve gotten so many people raving about my plants and asking what lights I use and I can’t even pronounce the brand name correctly for them lol

Like another reviewer I had the temp sensor issue. Wouldn’t power on unless it was unplugged. This however wasnt a deal breaker as long as it performs. Rounding 6 months of continuous use and going strong. It is the perfect size for flowering my 4x5 tent full of various strains. It does run warm on full power. This light was only ~$150 and had grown it’s savings from the store ten fold already. If it died tomorrow I’d order another no question. If the temp dongle worked it’d be five stars but sounds like that might be the reason its such a great value.

I got the PT-5000. It's about 490 watts actual draw. 9 bars of LED's. The time and temp settings on the digital display are easy to see and use. It turns on when I want, and Off when I want. I haven't had it through summer yet, so I don't know about the heat temp settings. Hopefully my stuff won't get that hot.I put the wires on the wrong ends at first. and it was out of balance. I also got 2 x 4" USB fans and put them ontop of the lights, so I got some airflow through the light. It helps keep a breeze on my canopy.This was a decent value for some Samsung 281b diodes, and a 500w size. I have 4 plants under it, and another 5 around it. You need to be about 15" away from the light for good sized flowers.UPDATE: 6 months later, Light is GREAT. UV & IR light Diodes on this one. Most lights don't have the UV, and it really really helps THC/CBD production.

**Update 2/16/25**We purchased 3 of these in total. We had a good run of 2-3 years with them before experiencing any issues and would have previously recommended them.Recently, however, one of the lights had one of the LED bar stop working and a second light started on fire when switching it to full bars. It started crackling/flickering and then immediately smelled the burning. Smoke started to pour out of the light. Fortunately, I was able to kill the power to it quickly. After I pulled the light I did an inspection and there was no sign of burn or damage on the power cord or power inlet - whatever went wrong was internal to the light. With the recent events I can no longer recommend these lights and no longer feel safe using them.

This light is strong enough for sure. I have this in a 5x5 grow room with 8 cucumber plants and 20 tomatoe plants and growing good, I'm sure I over water them but this light is Alow all of my plants to produce vegetables before I was event ready to put them outside. Hopefully it gets nice out Im running out of room.

Supplier could not replace the temp censer. Light is bright. Going to have to find the censer myself. Great price for what it is.
