Have used this 9-in-one cooker aboard a live-aboard trawler for over a year. Noromally a multiple-use product does one thing well and not others? This Instant Pot does everything well. It is a pressure cooker, crockpot, sous vide, yogurt, rice, sterilizer, cake, and steamer.The only feature not used (yet) is the yogurt setting, but the rest of the settings work extremely well....with impressive results. The support for recipes and use online is also impressive. If you need a perfect meal in thirty minutes while using minimal electricity, this is perfect. This recommendation was passed along by another live-aboard boater. Forgot to defrost meat for a recipe? No worries, defrost enough to separate the meat from the packaging and place in the intant pot. The crock pot setting has 92 hour range which is awesome for bone broth. (We did not opt for the air fryer model, due to our own galley storage and height limitations).The interior pot acts like a 316 stainless steel which performs evenly, does not develop hotspots or burn marks, and cleans easily to brand new condition every time.Con: Short cord. Would love to park the instant pot directly into the sink for stability while we are underway, but the cord is not long enough. This pot is actively used while underway to take advantage of the electricity and to have a meal ready when ready to anchor for the day. Hoever, there have been no problems or issues with slipping, tipping or bouncing off the counter. It's heavy and stable with great friction on the bottom ... again, after 1 year 2 months, so far so good.

The instapot has been a life saver especially for the yogurt option which my wife uses to make traditional gujarati recipes like dhokla, khaman and really helps to make yogurt where normally in cold conditions it does not normally happen.Wife really liked other options and was really happy that she now has another pressure cooker with so many abilities.To make things good the product was reasonable with the price and is a must have in Indian households staying the US.Easy to use, easy instructions and easy to clean.

Don't know how I got by without this cooker. High-quality, easy to use, very safe, cooking speed. Love it.

I recently tried out this product and overall, I’m pretty satisfied. It does exactly what it claims to do, and it’s pretty straightforward to use. The quality feels decent, and it seems like it’ll last a while. Price-wise, it’s fair—not too expensive but not super cheap either, which makes sense for what you’re getting.One thing I really liked is how convenient it is; I didn’t have to spend too much time figuring it out. It worked well right out of the box. Of course, like anything, there’s always room for improvement, but nothing major stood out as a dealbreaker.If you’re on the fence about getting it, I’d say it’s worth a try. It’s a solid choice overall!

I love the newly designed steam release, but I wish that it still had the extended "keep warm" feature. This one only allows you to keep your meal warm for up to 10 hours and then it shuts off, and sometimes I work longer hours than that being in healthcare. My old Instant Pot would let you keep things warm for like 36 hours.

So much better than my last Instant Pot which sadly died in the middle of a cook. This model is an upgrade, so easy to program and use and it’s whisper quiet! It came to pressure quickly and my food was cooked perfectly! Can never live without one.

Just short of incomplete instructions of where EVERY warning tag is (little one under the valve *critcal* to remove to acheive pressure), this worked great to cook a 4.5 lb. roast. After cleaning, I noticed black pitting in the metal. Mind you, I used a non abrasive scrub mommy sponge...which defeated the whole purpose of having a stainless steel inner pot...should be able to scrub with steel wool with no issue like this! By other commenters reviews, said they had issue with pitting in the steel as well, which only got worse with more use. This is a sign of CHEAP STEEL COOKWARE...but I thought, maybe they were especially rough. Nope. I scrub my baby's back harder than I did this!Other commenters also say they that it simply quits works after 6 months of average use (about 1 time a week). This is a sign of CHEAP ELECTRONICS.Anyhow, it's an outsource issue. Instapot sold out to cheaper manufacturers *China, and now their product is garbage.I read time and time again that the older Instantpots are invincible. I'll be going to the thriftstores to look for old models.I returned this promptly the next day, detail cleaned it and repackaging it carefully. DO NOT FORGET THE EXTERNAL BOX THAT THE BOX CAME IN OR THEY WILL CHARGE YOU TO PACKAGE THE BOX!!It remains to be seen, as they said a "partial or ZERO payment refund may be issued based on the condition when its returned". There's a lot of things I have taken chances on buying from Amazon, but never have I encountered this "possible zero refund" without being mentioned to before buying.Buy it from a local store if you can, you'll have less hassel if things go south.AMAZON SAVES YOU NOTHING IN THIS SCENARIO.

What is there to say! This is a product made by Instantpot and the quality is extremely good! It’s an upgrade from the very first Instantpot I purchased 5 years ago. I really like that this unit has a display that shows exactly what’s happening as it cooks plus the super quiet pressure relief release. Nice product and a great upgrade over the original Instantpot! I would highly recommend!
