Mum wanted a new headboard. Cue browsing on Amazon until we came to this. Here's my experience and impressions of it.Packaging: the headboard was wrapped in clear plastic, stapled directly to the back of the headboard itself. Inside, the corners of the headboard had cardboard corners - stapled directly to the back of the headboard. The legs and screws were included inside and visible. Removing the plastic and cardboard proved a bit tricky. So bits remain, but as it is the back of the headboard it isn't something you'd notice if up against a wall.Headboard: pretty sturdy. Instructions for assembly were stuck to the back of the headboard, which most importantly details the location of the screw holes for attaching the legs to. There are two stickers to indicate where two of the four holes are; in opposite corners. It works, though I can't help but think this is where savings were made to keep the price low. One has to pierce the back of the headboard fabric to expose the holes in order to attach the legs.Installation: fairly simplistic, and a screwdriver sufficed. Pierce the fabric to expose the screw holes, position the legs, screw in, pop on the appropriate bolts on the bed, tighten bolts. Done.Other thoughts: we got this for an unbelievably low price. Even with imperfections it's tolerable at the price point. No complaints.Delivery (this does not factor into what I think of the product but included as information for the buyer): Ah.... well, this was a little awkward. The seller used DHL for this, and the tracking information is sparse. It didn't update beyond 'dispatched'. It arrived on the second of the two estimated delivery days, which is fine. Oddly, even as I write this the information on my Amazon account hasn't updated appropriately. In fact it's noted as "Your package may be lost". DHL's systems could probably do with an update...

A lovely headboard. Easy to fit. Well engineered and with delightfully soft fabric.

I recently purchased the **Adore Living Divan Bed Headboard in Grey, Kingsize**, and I have mixed feelings about it. On the positive side, the headboard is visually appealing. The plush velvet fabric and Chesterfield design give it an elegant, luxurious look that really elevates the overall appearance of my bedroom. The grey color is a nice neutral tone that complements most décor, and the padded lining provides a soft and comfortable surface for leaning back while reading or watching TV in bed.However, there are a few downsides worth mentioning. While the headboard looks great from a distance, upon closer inspection, I found the overall construction to be a bit underwhelming. The padding, while soft, doesn’t feel as substantial as I had hoped, and it seems a bit thin. I also expected a bit more sturdiness for the price. It’s not flimsy, but it doesn’t have the solid, high-quality feel I was anticipating.Another minor issue is the height. At 20 inches, it feels slightly shorter than I imagined, and it doesn’t make as much of a statement as I would have liked, especially for a kingsize bed. If you’re going for a bold, dramatic headboard look, you might find the height a little disappointing.Overall, the **Adore Living Divan Bed Headboard** offers decent value for the price, especially if you prioritize aesthetics. However, if you're looking for a headboard that feels more robust or makes a big visual impact, you might want to consider other options.

Excellent quality headboard for a reasonable price..I brought the blue one.Not a true navy but a beautiful colour. Easy to put together. I have raised mine a little to show it off more.Very happy.

The struts are only just long enough if you have a very deep mattress. However quality and look is fine.

The headboard arrived encased in clear plastic so was clean however for simplicity they stapled everything. Removing the plastic caused some of the staples to become exposed and naturally one stabbed a finger. Our fault for not paying attention. The headboard seems reasonably padded and evenly spread and all the buttons secure. The leg fixing holes lined up with the holes in the leg but that’s where we come across our complaints. The legs are made from softwood and are slightly warped. Once fitted to the headboard securely it only remained for us to slide it down onto the two fixing screws attached to the bed frame. Being softwood and slight warped the slots didn’t align so some pulling and pushing was required which lead to the wood snapping.Fortunately I can adapt the original two legs to fit but why should I?As I said in the beginning you get what you pay for so I’m not overly upset; my wife’s finger is but it’s healed now.Will the manufacturer please take note; it’s the little things that upset us, as well as the injuries.When you skimp on an essential component and it doesn’t work the rest of your excellent skills and products don’t get the recognition; or follow up sales.

This headboard is value for money, it was a bit difficult to unpack due to the amount of staples within the packaging, and attached to the headboard, although easy to put together, looks lovely on the bed, the pink is not as dusty colour as pictured.
