This simple pencil holder just slips onto the case with a big elastic strap, but the case is open at the bottom and has a generous space at the top. The pen is securely held but the delicate tip is protected on both the bottom and the top, and the pencil slips into the case without damaging the tip. I wish I’d gotten the multicolored version but otherwise I love it!

This pen holder fits snugly around my Remarkable 2 and the stylus is held securely in place. Highly recommend

It works, serves its purpose. Holds the pencil secure. Holds the cover secure. Well worth the investment to keep from losing your pencil!

My biggest complaint about the Remarkable tablet has been their lack of attention to transporting the tablet anywhere. This little do-hicky is something they need to incorporate in their product line (along with a case made for using the tablet outdoors in rough weather, but that's a story for a different review should that product come along.)This is a pretty basic little stylus holder. The black vinyl material goes well with my black leather remarkable case. The band is simply a strap of elastic. An upgrade would be to add something that would attach the strap to a remarkable case so that you don't have to pull the whole thing off to open the remarkable. But it works.The top of the stylus holder closes easily. But an upgrade would be to make it more than a top cover and encase the whole thing. That would ensure detritus from my travel bag won't get down into the stylus holder. As it is, that could easily happen.The stylus sleeve is sufficiently deep that you don't have to push the stylus all the way into the holder, which might damage the tip or press on the eraser end improperly. Time will tell if that will happen anyway. And the sleeve is tight enough to hold the stylus in place so it doesn't move around, but it isn't hard to get the stylus into the sleeve.After I submit this review, I'm telling the people who have purchased a Remarkable on my recommendation that they need this too.Would buy again.

At the cost of $129 for a pen, the magnetic holder is fine when I'm at home but if I'm out, it's always in the holder. I've put my Remarkable 2 away in a bag only to pull it out later and found no pen (thankfully it fell out on the floor of my car, after catching on the side of the bag). I put it on the folder and remove the whole holder when I write, as it does pop the tablet up at a slant if you fold the cover behind with the holder still on. But when it's on, I know the pen is secure and won't fall out. Solid purchase.

Fits the chromebook stand without adding noticeable weight or bulk. A 1/4 inch too long for a regular stylus so I slid a piece of the packing material into the bottom of the sleeve. Also, the closure has enough flexibility to pull snugly to hold a smaller pen. Didn't want to risk adhesive residue.

Love it. I was constantly losing the pen until I got this.
