Acme Furniture Metal and Wooden Music Desk with Wheels, Black

I was sceptical looking at this piece, but for the price I figured I'd take a chance. I was between building furniture or buying, this route was cheaper and so much faster (I build slow). I'm not at all regretting that decision.Packaging looked rough on delivery, but after opening and inspecting, everything was in fine condition. All parts, screws, instructions were intact.The build itself took me less than 2 hours moving at a leisurely pace. Hardest part was just bringing everything downstairs.The only catch I had in assembly was I put the laptop drawer in upside down. Which was fine, easy to fix, especially since I wasn't expecting a laptop drawer.The thing is well designed, over engineered, and incredibly sturdy. No concerns rolling it around on my carpeted floors.They even sent 100 rack screws. Wasn't thinking about that. They aren't the tapered MAP ones I use at work, but they'll do. Even include washers.The carbon fiber esque finish looks a lot better than I expected, and it's very comfortable to lean on.I can't wait to get this thing loaded up and start cranking out music?

This is a very solid construction and will hold all the heaviest of gear. Rack mounts left and right, both top and bottom. The keyboard drawer holds my Roland Jupiter X with ease. Surfaces have a black “carbon fiber look” which is quite attractive. Assembly was easy and the instructions were clear. Perfectly met the functionality I was looking to find.

This is a well designed, very spacious desk at a good value compared to many others I noticed when I was looking for! The only issue I noticed as soon as Installed it is that the surface scratches very easily! I wish they would have made it more resistant to scratches like if it was made of formica that would have much better…

Had to leave a review as I look at reviews for everything I buy. This desk is extremely sturdy and the texture of the finish on the surface is great... something you can't see in the pictures. Although the box was pretty banged up, it was packaged so well that the contents inside were not damaged. The rack space is great. Very much worth the money. If you look at comparable desks online the prices are outrageous. Very happy with the product!

This is a great desk and it is great for music produces working from home, however if you are playing keys and purchasing this desk I am pretty sure you will think the keyboard tray is too low. I purchased 4 inch wheels and installed the 4 inch wheels instead of the 2 inch wheels that came with the desk and in my opinion it made the desk perfect. My only complaint is the shipper really needs to double pack this box it ships ground and came with some minor damage but I am sure if I ordered another it would arrive in the same condition or worse - Double pack and box please !

I will probably take the keyboard shelf off and modify it a bit in the center - to make room for legs when scooted in on a chair. The wheels are way better than I anticipated. I thought I would upgraded them the day I assembled it but found they were way better than what you would usually see on an office chair or desk like this.

Wow. Really surprised how nice this desk is for the money. Perfect for my needs. As others have noted, the packaging is near horrible. There is a back plate that is metal and has cable management shaped into it. Mine arrived crimped due to poor shipping. Still usable, but disappointing. Only other question is I can't figure if the desktop racks are intended to be 6U or 5U (I only can fit 5).
