Awesome for the garage I have, for a single car garage it works wonders and now I have 2 for the 2 car garage I am in and it makes it bright as day! They have been consistent and haven't flicker or failed on me yet having owned one for about a year now. The color doesn't add any odd shades or tint so I appreciate that. Wouldn't recommend any application that isn't away from your normal view range(mine are in the ceiling sockets) because they are very bright! They are pricey but excellent if you work projects in the garage at night or need to light up and large dark space. They do get very hot so keep flammable away I'd assume.

I needed an incredibly bright light for my workspace for crafting and leather work. This is the best brightest lightbulb I have ever had. Love it. It doesn’t flicker it doesn’t feel cheap and it works excellent

Turned my reloading room from a piano lounge with a 100w incandescent bulb into high noon in Phoenix in August. I actually have to be careful entering the room initially to keep from going into photo shock! Best bulb I ever bought, most expensive too just hope it lasts. Worth the money.

It’s bright very bright hope you live in the country because I bet your neighbors wouldn’t like it. It’s a dang floodlight.

I put this in a trouble light to test it and waving it around my living room I felt like Harry Potter. It throws out an incredible amount of light and has great 360 coverage. Very impressive.

I purchased a total of 3 of the bulbs. One was placed in a single ceiling fixture and is still working after about 3 hours of accumulated use.The other two were put in a double light fixture and the first of those two failed in less than 24 hours with less than 2 hours of use. (Probably less than 1 hour). Frankly, the light emitted from just one of the bulbs was sufficient BUT within the next 12 hours, with less than 2 hours of illumination time, it failed.I have low expectations for the remaining one, but I shall wait until it fails to replace it.Not recommended.I did get a response from Sansi regarding the bulbs. Ultimately an explanation was given that “ From your picture, I noticed that you used both bulbs in the enclosure of the ceiling fan.Please note that this bulb can't be used in a full closed fixture or any recessed lighting because of the hollow design.As you know, the heat will be generated from the bulb to the air inside the fixture, and then the high degree will let the bulb become defective. It will reduce the life of bulbs.”I wouldn’t really consider the bowl like fixture, completely open at the top, to be “enclosed” but keep that in mind if you choose to go with this bulb.

Location of the leds are in the upper section so for use under a lamp shade you get little direct light below the lamp. That said this bulb is so bright, indirect light is super bright. Just what I was looking for.
