Q: Does anyone know what the closure is

Button waist, zipper fly, velcro pockets. Pockets are too small for my taste.

Q: Are these still slim looking in bigger sizes like 38?

I got them in a 42x30. I tend toward a baggier pant (eg. carpenter jeans), but I found these to be a slimmer look than my normal pants without feeling tight. I'm extremely happy with the fit.

Q: Do these shrink any after washing??

No. They're still the same and I have washed them 4 times

Q: im 6'4 w slim waist what size do you reccomend?

At 6' 4", these may not be long enough. Measure your waist (to the level where you usually wear your pants). Then measure your inseam from the crotch area to the top of your shoes. Or measure the pant leg on a pain that you own, that is long enough.
