Works great with my MP3 Player.
This (Philmore Right Angle 3.5mm 1/8" Mono Male Plug To 3.5mm 1/8" TRS Stereo Female Jack; 561A, ASIN B01H0RC61Q) works very well with my (SanDisk SDMX28-016G-G46B Clip Sport Plus MP3 Player, 16GB, ASIN B01LRXHO48).However, the (Monoprice 107128 3.5mm Mono Plug to 3.5mm Stereo Jack Adaptor, ASIN B002N1XMPO) does NOT work correctly with my MP3 Player listed previously; it does not fit the connection correctly, and I tried two of them.

This adapter worked just fine making the sound come out of both ear buds ...
I have a couple single speaker somy radios that I wanted to be able to use headphones with. This adapter worked just fine making the sound come out of both ear buds rather than the one. The only issue with it is that you need headphones that don't have volume controls on them. I tested 3 headphones that had the volume controls and there was barely any sound and lots of electrical static. Besides that, it works really well and I am happy with the purchase.

Great Little Mono-to-Stereo Converter Jack
This is just what I need for one of my portable Sony cassette recorders, because when you plug a pair of headphones into it, the sound comes out in mono (through only the left ear) if you do not use a mono-to-stereo converter. It seems to be sturdy enough, and there is no loss in sound quality when using it.Something else that you may want to get this plug for is to balance the sound output between the right and left earphones, even if sound is coming out of both of them. If you notice that more sound seems to be coming out of one earphone than the other, this thing splits it quite nicely.

90 degree adaptor Mono to stereo.
Works like a charm. I use it for a 2 way radio for work so i can use head phones intead of a earpiece.

Helps in Tight Quarters
I use these for the many wires routed to the rear of my radio equipment. Because my equipment is mounted on shelves rather than an open table, these help avoid crimped cables as the gear is pushed back close to the wall.

Incredibly loose connector. Do not recommend.
Terrible. Might as well be a 6.3mm jack. Tried many different 3.5mm connectors: two TS, three TRS, and one TRRS, not one could stay in the jack with the slightest movement. Even taping the plug in, there would be crackle noises from the incredibly loose connection. I’m still in the return window, but because of COVID, all packaging was tossed. Waste of money.
