Parallel rulers don’t sit flat.The two knobs to stretch the rulers across a Marine chart, should be placed in the center of each ruler rather than off to the side. It would be easier to separate the rulers. without slipping off the lines of the chart. Should have come with a cover

Warped plastic and weak joints
The parallel rulers are attached with something like pop rivets but not as strong. The rivets are loose so the parallel rulers become not parallel every time you move the joints. Just real crap.
