I bought thinking is the mini sling but got the original sling. Still does an amazing job as it supposed to do and you will not be dissatisfied.

I BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE I TORE MY ROTATOR CUFF & CAN NOT CARRY ANYTHING WITH WEIGHT. FITS ACROSS BODY IN SO MANY WAYS!!!!!!

Originally got the sling mini and loved it, but had no room for acquired items. Just had room for my pocket EDC. This bag solves that little nitpick by holding just a bit more than the mini, but not being too big.

Things I am learning in my older years: the reason I hate having things in my pockets is a direct result of some kind of ADHD sensory thing. The way keys feel pressed against my thigh drives me nuts. I hate the way the weight of my wallet (which is always flush with so, so, so much cash) and phone drag on my belt. In a perfect world, my pockets are empty. For a while, I was the guy with the belt-pack (fanny pack?) slung around his shoulder. It was fine, but I figured I'd upgrade.This pack is awesome. My everday carry includes: Sunglasses, keys, earplugs, earbuds, phone, wallet, 5X7 notebook, a mess of pencils and pens, and a Canon G7X - and this holds all of it just fine. If I swap a few things out, it can also stash a Sony A7ii with a snub lens (I have a Rokinon 35 mm that works).If cameras are your jam, go for the larger 9L sling. Bellroy also makes a photographer specific sling that looks pretty nifty.

I was looking for a lightweight, minimalist sling for travel, and the Bellroy Sling Bag 7L ticked all my boxes.For the flight over, it comfortably fits a Samsung 10.5" Tablet in its case (9.2"x6.3"x0.22", note that iPads have more bezel and a different aspect ratio, so an iPad, iPad Air or iPad Pro 11 will probably not fit), passport, keys, sony headphones and my Anker power bank.Out on the town, it fits a rolled up rain jacket, DJI Osmo 6 phone gimbal, 6.7" phone and wallet with room to spare.Note that Bellroy has also updated the Sling since v1 (pictured in product description) - it now has an improved key carabiner, two extra pouches in the front compartment for organization, and the main compartment zipper is now longer and opens the bag wider for getting larger items in and out.My only gripes are that the magnetic quick release is hard to reach, and the padded compartment is weirdly situated at the back of the case, where fragile items can get crushed against your back. Use wisely.Great product that's well built, tough wearing and good looking.
