Hard to use
I ordered this to try and improve my coffee and try and get consistent tampering..The simply fact is, it easily jams on the push down which then means there is no spring compression and no consistency.

Fit my Casabrew 51mm portafilter just fine.Don’t know if it makes espresso any better, I guess when I get a bottomless filter, I’ll know for sure, but it’s very satisfying to tamp down on my puck.Excellent quality.

This is a quality tamper! It’s a nice heavy weight, and the spring keeps the tamping consistent. It’s also easy to clean.

Love it, but pricy
Why are these tools so ridiculously expensive? The tool itself is great, easy to use, sturdy, and looks great. It does what it is intended to do and I love the little ridges it leaves once your grounds are temped. I took a star off for the high cost.
