Exactly what I needed.
Forgotten 14" laptop was tiny bit smaller than my old 15", but I needed a new one badly. My old Dell 15" took 20 minutes to turn on, would freeze if too many pages were open and battery literally stop charging. This new HP is perfect size, lots more people are using 14" because of it's compatibility. Great.

Excellent product
I liked the fact that the product was exactly what was described in the product description. It was brand new and arrived unaltered without fault. However, I would have preferred an active stylus pen

never, ever buy this computer.
we have had nothing but problems since we purchased this computer. it started almost immediately. we have spent way to much time with tech support rebooting this computer. now, it says we need to do it again. just today! it is a good thing we never loaded anything in it after the initial problems. have to keep it all on a seperate hard drive. so thankful we bought the 4 year warranty. now it is time for HP to step up and replace it. i guess with another of their faulty ones. who knows. if i could get my money back i would not buy hp computers again. not worth it.

Wouldn't recommend
Had a few issues out of the box. Hp support is awful. One guy took me on a two hour saga at the end of which he told me he couldn't fix the issue I was asking about and said I had to contact someone else and pay a fee to answer the question. Touch screen is inconvenient. Often will just close my window when I move the screen. Computer fell off a 2 foot (onto carpet while computer was shut) ledge and broke the screen. Broken screen now constantly touches the screen making it unusable. Contacted support who told me it would cost more to fix it than just buying an entirely new computer. If I could go back and change my decision to buy I would. Besides these issues (when it worked) computer was mostly fine but nothing special. Big perk of the computer is the touchscreen which didn't really end up being useful or practical and then after the fall completely broke the usability of the computer. Computer is very fragile

Malfunction
I have been using this laptop for a little more than a week now and almost instantly I noticed that the mousepad buttons often stick. Today, the cursor completely disappeared and the mousepad is non responsive. I am currently on a trip and is unable to return at this moment. The laptop is still on warranty so I have reached out to HP to try and get some assistance however they are yet to return my call.
