And just like Joey, it doesn't need to share—this scrubber works with just water, no additional products needed!The One Where Dead Skin is DOAOkay, let’s get real. Dead skin cells are like Janice at a dinner party—nobody wants them around. Thankfully, this scrubber is so effective at exfoliation it's like a mini "Smelly Cat" concert for your back, driving all the unwanted stuff away. Say goodbye to dead skin, ingrown hairs, and even back acne. "Could your back BE any smoother?"

I have purchased MicrodermaMitt's hand and face scrubbers over and over so I thought upgrading my exfoliating routine to add a back scrubber just made sense. I have found that the instructions for the mitts are not accurate--you do have to let them soak to get completely saturated before they'll work to exfoliate. However, this product just did not work. I think it's because the scrubber is made from the fabric doubled over, whereas the mitts are only one layer of fabric. It was like it could never really fully absorb enough water to exfoliate. At the same time, the rope handles are so thick they never dry! Even if you move it outside your shower to dry, it is so slow that it grows orange mold. I've given this a shot twice and decided to try the Eco Tool's back scrubber next. If that doesn't work, maybe I'll tie the hand mitt around a back scrubber wand!MicrodermaMitt makes great mitts but this back scrubber does not work in any capacity. Don't waste your money.

I’m not really a fan of this back scrubber. It is definitely not what I was expecting. Here are my main observations:1. This is thick and doesn’t lather. Instead, it absorbs soap like a hallway throw rug soaking up spilled water. Part of the problem is that the material is thick and non-flexible for a scrubber, and it’s so long that there’s just too much material. You can’t scrunch it into a ball, again, this has the texture that brings to mind a miniature hallway throw rug.2. Not much value here. The pricing (currently $48) is unrealistic. You should be able to get 4 decent back scrubbers for this price and I can’t really find anything special about this one to make it worth 4 or 5 standard back scrubbers.3. It’s hard to dry out. The material is thicker than a standard scrubber especially the rope handles are still wet the next day when you go to take a shower. You’d expect a shower scrubber to dry out in a few hours.4. The feeling is quite rough on your skin. I guess this could be a plus or con depending on what you’re looking for. It feels more like losing your skin than cleaning it to me.5, The blue banner area takes away from the scrubbing surface. There is a full-length strip with the name of the product just in case you forget it is repeated over several times. This banner area doesn’t scrub your back. It’s a waste of space if you ask me.In summary, this is an expensive scrubber that doesn’t lather. It is quite rough and might possibly serve as a back scratcher in addition to a scrubber, and shouldn’t have a problem removing some skin in the process.

I like this Double Sided MicrodermaMitt Exfoliating Back Scrubber. It came folded in a little cardboard box. This scrubber does what it says it will do, which is provide a really good exfoliation when used as directed. Unlike most of my other scrubbers, which usually double as soap scrubbies, this isn't meant to be used with soap. They suggest using this once a week, and after getting into a steaming shower without using any soaps or cleansers before using. You then step back from the water and use this scrubber. After scrubbing, THEN you get under the shower and cleanse as usual. This also says not to machine wash, as it should only be washed by hand. This is rather pricey, but, again, it does work as described.
