HOMCOM Wall Mounted Ethanol Fireplace, Bioethanol Heater Stove Fire with 1L Tank, 2.5 Hour Burning Time, White

Very happy with this fireplace heater!Our property is a small 1 bedroom Bungalow.Currently with No heating!This heater warms up the lounge very well, up to 19 degrees and the rest of the building is warm.Current outdoor temperature is 3 degrees at night!12ish daytime.FUEL:We purchased a 2lt bottle of Bioethanol from the Big diy store and it smells a fair bit when burning.DEFINITELY BUY premium fuel EkoFuel.It’s worth going for fuel that is purified 3 times as barely smells when burning.After lighting we tend to leave the airbox fully open for 15/20 minutes then have it open about quarter.(1/2 litre lasted 4h 45m airbox open quarter)It Obviously doesn’t put out as much heat like this.Open it fully and the heat is amazing, in fact too hot for our lounge! It will guzzle fuel this way.INSTALLATION:Easy to fit, four holes to drill. It comes with decent screw hooks and literally drops on the hooks so it is easy to remove if needed.DOWNSIDES: if using this a lot, it isn’t going to be mega cheap to run.You will be able to smell this however with premium fuel it’s very minimal, cheaper fuels stink.When it runs out you should wait about 15/20 minutes for it to cool down before re-fuelling.In the instructions it states that it should Not be used as a heater!🤔 🤷🏻‍♂️Overall it is well made, looks nice, gives out a good bit of heat, it’s just over 1.5KW.A few people on reviews said that theirs went black, after 2 weeks of heavy use ours has not gone black at all.

The media could not be loaded. I'm so pleased we got this fireplace. We wanted cozy warmth and a real flame and this works perfectly for us. We didn't want to mount it on the wall so we placed it onto a tile in case of heat transfer but it doesn't get super hot.It would be no good if you have kids, but we have a dog and so far he hasn't wagged his tail anywhere close to it.We use approx 1/3 of a litre max each session which lasts us a few hours and costs approx 75pYou can semi close the slot if it gets too warmIt's perfect for if you want the real flame feel.The bioethanol has a slight smell if you leave it standing in the fire without using it but if you only decant what you need at a time it doesn't have time to evaporate.

Love this wall mounted bioethanol fire, it looks modern and kicks out nice heat, where I live is only electric, no heating in my bathroom so I now have this, so for the little space in the bathroom I'm no longer freezing on really cold days and it looks stunning when I'm in the bath, proper cozy. I couldn't be happier

The media could not be loaded. Very easy to set up and use and it burns for a long time, I only had it half open. It says to put the slot to the back but it blackens the back of it really badly, my pic is after the first use. I have turned it so the slot is at the front to try and stop this happening. It's a bit of a design flaw. The back shouldn't blacken so easily or have a glass cover so it's easily cleaned.

Very impressed considering the price as others costing hundreds some even into the thousands for a bioethanol fireplace.The goodHeats a room very well, on a full 1 litre lasts about 4 hours with the slider fully open. Can make the fire last longer by closing it half way.The badNothing other than the cost of the fuelThings to knowWhen purchasing this I was confused whether I needed the wick as I was being suggested by amazon to add it in to the basket. You don’t need this as the wick is already inside the fireplace and doesn’t need to be changed ever. Just add fuel.The back of the fireplace was gladly already painted black as other reviewers have shown the back being white on some earlier ones.

The media could not be loaded. This thing will be ok in a tiny bathroom which it’s intended for.Not really cheap to run even when ethanol is bought in bulk. Takes the edge off a medium room.The back turns black after first use and can’t be removed. Ours also arrived with a small dent on the front but we couldn’t replace even though it was bought via Amazon.There’s probably better out there to be honest

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a modern smallish one of these for a while, and it’s perfect ! Gives out plenty of heat and I have a large open plan lounge & dining room .I find it uses just under 1litre of fuel in around 3 hours if burner is fully open , and lasts around 5 hours half open which still gives off a good amount .I was put off a bit by previous reviews about staining the back of the fire after use , and having to paint it , but the photos advertised it with a black background anyway ? So I messaged seller , very quick response to say no it’s all white . I decided to order anyway and some heatproof black paint , but was so pleased when it arrived 2 days later , it was same as the photos , already black ! So returned the paint I ordered .It was easy to hang , , you’ll need a level a drill and cross head screwdriver , think I used a 10mm drill bit .Looks fab 😊
