It's plastic like the original and it works, buying another one in the future so I don't have to switch out two negative strips every time when I can just have another tray with film ready to be scanned.

Big relief to be able to get this film holder. The price is right and it’s exactly like the original.

Works perfectly in my Epson V600 scanner.

It was slightly bent when received. I used tape to hold each end. After taping, it worked great.

Genuine prodict, works well

If you are looking for a solid replacement for the original tray for the Epson Perfection V600, this is not your best choice. As it was already mentioned by another reviewer, the two pieces were "stuck" together when they arrived so I had to carefully pry them apart. The two pieces don't line up properly, even the most basic of its functions, accepting two 35 mm strips of negatives, it is a tight fit (too narrow) in some spots.As the title says, ultimately, it gets the job done and quite honestly, for $15, I shouldn't have expected much of it. I believe the original part sells for about $50, this product makes one understand the difference between cheap and inexpensive: this one is cheap.

I bought a used Epson v600 Photo Scanner, and it didn't come with a negative tray. I purchased this and it works like a charm.

I am pleased with this purchase, however, the Epson Perfection V600 Scanner had a set included.
