This is great servo, but with only one huge problem. - It has a fuse, which got burned on the very first ride within just half an hour, I've got very disappointed, because the same happened to my stock servo and I was waiting for this one for a month.Since I was not able to return it from another country, I have found out that the fuse is useless there and you can just remove it and solder a piece of wire. If you have this issue and your servo is not working at all, look at attached picture for fuse location. (Do NOT do it UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING and AT YOUR OWN RISK).So I would put 5 star here, but because I had to worry about the fuse issue, I set only 3 for now.

All Traxxas RC comes with a plastic servo gears they do this so they can buy cheap and sell expensive. And trust me the plastic servos they put on there RC vehicles will break not long after you start using your RC so buy this metal gear servo so you will have a peace of mind knowing that you can go out and not have to worry if it will break today or not with the metal servo your in great shape better than what Traxxas starts you in.

I stripped my first servo horn beyond return, when I was new to rc. So I bought a savox servo and this one just to see if I got a bad one from the factory. Traxxas support was kind enough to send me free horns to replace my shredded one. This servo has not died on my TRX 4 since install. Still have the Savox on the side.

This is my second metal servo upgrade in a week after the stock servos failing on two different RC vehicles. Installed on my Traxxas 4tec 2.0vxl and my Traxxas Stampede vxl both installed in minutes both work great and are up to the task of heavy loads into the turn and work great no matter what tires your using.

Replaced the broken stock plastic servo in my 2wd Slash. Simple take the old out, put this in it’s place. Plug-and-Play after an alignment of course. Works great!

HAD TO REPLACE STEERING SERVO IN THE RUSTLER 4X4 AFTER THE KID CLIPPED A TREE ROOT.

It’s a good servo, but of course you have to pay for the Traxxas name.
