I've bought and used this tallow soap for over 5 years. It's naturally derived and produced. I have extremely sensitive skin and this is the only soap with no added ingredients that I can tolerate. It's made similar to any homemade soap that uses lye, which cooks off during preparation so none is left in the final product (if you're not familiar with it, research the topic so you'll understand the process). I've never experienced any harshness in any of the different batches I've received so I appreciate the consistency of always being gentle on my skin. It has a faint scent of beef tallow which I find comforting; it's not a strong or aggressive scent in any way. I've never had an issue with any of the products, with the seller, or with delivery. I'm very satisfied with this product and will continue purchasing it in the future. Highly recommended!

I've been using Healthy Porcupine pure tallow soap for years. High quality, no scents, "essential oils", or irritants, just tallow and lye. To my nose it's odorless but maybe some people would smell a little "tallow" smell.

All natural, non drying, hypoallergenic, &, lasts longer than regular soaps. Highly recommend for price & quality. Smells neutral. Leaves skin feeling Soft.

This soap can be difficult to lather but that should be expected. I buy the unscented and most of the time there's hardly any smell. On occasion I get a bar that smells lightly beefy but I'm ok with that as the smell doesn't stay with you. This soap does an awesome job. I wash my hair, my beard and my body with it. A bar lasts me about 3 weeks. My skin is very sensitive and it loves it. I stopped using my dandruff shampoo. There was a period after about a month of no dandruff shampoo where I got some build up on my scalp but considered it possibly due to the transition and stuck with it. Glad I did, 3 months in no dandruff, no dry skin, my hair and beard are soft and my skin loves it. The price is high but I'll keep ordering it.

I wasn't sure what to expect using tallow, but was pleasantly surprised. It does not lather as much as a regular bar of soap, but does lather. I absolutely love how smooth and clean my skin feels after using it. Not dry at all. Will definitely buy more!

I wish I could say that this is a great bar of soap, but I can only say that it's okay. It hasn't caused me any skin irritation fortunately and it's unscented (which is good due to fragrance sensitivity), at least it was, until it began to smell like beef after around a week of use. It's not nearly as moisturizing as I had hoped, but it's not as drying as a standard bar of soap. I couldn't handle the smell of beef so I had to throw it out, but I imagine it would last a long time with how solid it feels.
