They work, but seem pricey.
These work great, I ordered six to go all the way around our boat, on the cleats, rails and bimini. They just seem really pricey for what they are.

Convenient but with a problem
There is one huge problem with these. If you pull up a fender and leave it lying on the gunwale, it can unhook and you’ll lose the fender. Found this out the hard way. The clip is too easy to unhook.
