Works perfect on my generic mini pc
After buying an i9 mini pc on Amazon, the pc started shutting down after only having it for 5 months. I would reset the pc, it would go through the boot up process, and then shut off. I tried everything, thinking that it was a Windows OS issue. Nothing worked until I decided to give this DC power adapter a try... it works perfect! I'm very satisfied with this purchase and hope this could help anyone going through the same issue with their mini pc or laptop.

good modular setup
I'm going to write one review that covers the Nobsound NS-10P, TPA3116 power amp, and the power cable for the power amp. I bought a Monoprice 16153 50W hybrid amp in Nov 2016 that lasted about a year and a half before having problems. Letting it sit unplugged seems to have fixed it (?) but then started again. Replacement tubes seemed to have fixed it that time, but when it had problems again about a year ago another set of new tubes did not fix it again. I will say that compared to this solid state power amp, the Monoprice was MUCH louder. At half volume the Monoprice was louder than this TPA3116 is at full volume. That difference made me rethink my setup somewhat, so if you are used to a similar style hybrid amp the difference is real.I have only used the stock (JJ) 6J1 tubes with the preamp so far. I set all the controls to 50% on the pre, and noticed there is some distortion that was fixed by backing off the volume knob. Something else to know either if you are going for a slightly distorted sound (spoken words are 'buzzy') or want more clean headroom. I think probably swapping the tubes will address that but for now it's just an educated guess. The 'fullness' that you want from a tube amp is less full in this NS-10P than it was in the monoprice amp, but that one also had multiple tube stages and different tubes, and I used better tubes than the stock ones shipped for most of the time it was working. The price difference though is worth it for a modular setup, that is both smaller and lighter, in case I end up with similar quality issues I can replace only the parts that go bad. There are a few different Nobsound products on Amazon and some of them address the issue of sparks when you plug in the power cable, claiming to have fixed the issue in newer versions. Sparks did fly connecting the provided power cable into the NS-10P. I did verify the power switch was set to off. I purposely connected the power first then the unit to see if I got one that would spark, you can totally circumvent the issue by connecting the cord to power last. No sparks when connecting the power amp. Still worth noting. The power cable for the power amp is completely unremarkable, it just works.Overall the sound is very good, this set up takes music from a PC and outputs to a distribution box so I can have speakers at either workbench across the span of my house's full basement. Not set up for massive volume but I want to be able to hear while tools such as a drill are being used. I wear hearing protection when using bigger tools anyway.I have these situated where the preamp is on top of a similar sized Fosi subwoofer amp (for a different setup) and then that sits on top of the power amp. These make a lot less heat even stacked up like that and sat next to a cable box than the Monoprice amp did.If I could change any of it, I would suggest they know these items are going to be used together, either use 3.5mm or RCA not require adapters to use the pre & power amps together. And/or the possible addition of optical (perfect size for a mini toslink and they do make jacks where it can be built into a 3.5mm) from the source.Pick front or back for the power switch (preferring front obviously) and common colour scheme for the knobs & lights. The blue lights do look cool on the preamp I will admit.I do not like that the volume on the pre is 'notched', while the treb & bass it makes sense you want to set those and leave it, you may want to adjust the volume occasionally on the pre.The power amp knob has no line to signify where in its volume range it is set; in my case it didn't matter because it's maxed out. Finally, I would have wanted a sub pre out also from the power amp, (understand now this does not have the power for a passive sub) but that's only a small detail and my speakers have enough bass it's not a necessity.

Does what it should!
Bought this as a backup source for a NAS storage device, so that I can have a second UPS provide power and give me enough time to shut down the device clean. When I had a recent power outage, it was expected to be five minutes... when it hit 20 and change my UPS ran out of power. I hadn't thought much of it until it was too late. I could have shut it down.Well I thought, what can I do if I'm not there? The answer: Give a link to a second UPS that might last longer depending on the outage and whether I'm home and .....It has a second power port... after verifying that power port also worked, and that you could use both at the same time with one taking over if the other lost power (as I'd expect), I bought this to provide that power from a second UPS. Now, if the power goes out, the primary (which feeds the network, my computer, one of two monitors, and other devices) typically lasts about 20 minutes under use - 30-40 when I'm not there... and the alternate UPS (which powers a second computer, KVM, and modem) between 30-70. It's smart... the computer shuts off when the UPS has no power. But sometimes the shutdown takes longer. This adds that time though so I might have a chance to clean shut down the NAS, and not have to wait while it verifies integrity of a RAID-5 array before being able to enjoy a little Brahms.TL/DR: It works... just as it should.

Didn’t work out
I had a 19v 4.75a laptop power brick driving a TI chipset class d amplifier module. The amplifier sounded muddy and I figured the transient performance of the brick might be the cause. It was intended to charge batteries in a laptop.I have another similar class d amplifier powered by a 12v lead acid battery and it sounds pretty good, so I was hopeful it was a power supply issue. This unit claims to be intended specifically for driving amplifiers of this ilk. I tried it, there was no difference in the sound quality.I returned it.

It works, but it's crappy. Might be a fire hazard.
So, I wasn't expecting much for the price of this unit, but wow. The product I received simply isn't what is shown on the listing. What I received is a 19V 3.42A DC power supply with a US plug, but the label is entirely different, and the plug doesnt fit the Nobsound subwoofer amplifier that I purchased it to go with. The cable is terminated with a right angle connection rather than a straight connector like I expected. It fits loosely with no positive connection, and could fall out. I do believe that this item could be hazardous if care wasn't taken to ensure positive contact on the terminal, and for that I can only give it one star. It does power the unit, and there is no smell, smoke, or distortion in the amp.I will be keeping the unit as a spare high current DC power supply, but I will never purchase anything like it again. Might invest in a variable DC power supply.

Small Amplifier Cord
A little disappointed I had to buy this separately to power a small 100w amplifier. I hooked up a couple of bass shakers under chairs in my theater room and this power source has worked great for that. Here's the amp I have. https://www.amazon.com/Nobsound-NS-03G-Subwoofer-Amplifier-Version/dp/B072KDNW3F?ref_=ast_sto_dp

Works great. First one did have something rattling inside of it, but the seller was kind to replace it free of charge

Defective
Defective item. Requested a refund. They offered to pick up the item at no cost. Waited all day for the driver. Turns out they came and took an empty box from my garbage and photographed it. Marked the item as "returned" and issued the refund. So now I'm stuck with electronic waste to dispose of. Obviously this vendor does not care enough about their products to even find out what went wrong.

Works great for WD MyCloud EX4 NAS
Needed a replacement power supply for my Western Digital EX4 NAS. Plug fits perfect and specs are more than required for powering this 4Bay NAS.
