Really have enjoyed everything that I've made with this. Not just drinks either. It's easy to do food if you rig a cover onto your food container.

You do need four AA batteries not AAA but other than that it actually works really good. It’s a super cute kit and the wood chips are good quality plus it was a really good value for the money.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law. They used it twice and it stopped working. There is no way to reach the seller other than a bot and we are now outside return window for the product, so Amazon will not help. Don’t buy this if you expect it to work more than a couple of times. Very poor quality.

This is great for at home use - perfect for drinks and/or smoking small dishes! My husband loves it.

This kit comes very nicely packaged and would be suitable for gifting. I rated it a 4 but that is because I am unable to do partial stars. I would give this a 3.5 at best. The reasons are as follows. There are a LOT of alternative cocktail smoker kits out there that require you to put the wood chips in a strainer that fits over the glass and then you light it with a butane torch and voila you have smoke in your drink. Well, this one requires you to attach a tube to the smoking base and then attach the hose to a lid for the glass, then attach a vessel to hold the wood chips, then turn it on, and then light the wood chips. This device also requires 4 batteries, and you have to hold the tube and lid in place over the glass so that you can maintain the seal as it will move. So long story to say, this is a lot of effort in comparison to the other methods to get the exact same result. The kit is nicely packaged and if you have a lot of time, this is a conversation piece, but just for a nightly cocktail, it's a meh for me due to all that is required. Hope that helps you today.

I really didn't expect much out of this for the price but I was wrong. This thing works really good and the quality is much better than I expected.It fills a chamber with smoke in seconds.A little of the wood chips go a really long way.

I’ve used to several times to smoke cheese and it has worked well.

Edit: So under the assumption that I can't break anything more than it's already broken, I decided to try to take it apart. It was surprisingly easy, just twist it off. I discovered there is a seal that apparently gets loose and gets wound around the fan. Remove it, reseat the seal and viola, it started working again. Adjusting to 3 stars.Used maybe 10 times. Stopped working after a month, just outside the return period. The vendor website does not exist. Will start fighting with Amazon to get my money back...
