I’m using this product to sit comfortably for hours on end in the woods. My weight is around 340lbs 6’1”, and I used it today for the first time. I was so comfortable that I feel I could have stayed from daylight till dark. I had to purchase a couple D loops and tree straps in order to make it work, but being able to stay that long is worth it. Very well made, lightweight and easy to set up. I would recommend this product.

Bought this to camp in, and if you're willing to pick up a cheap mosquito net and a set of straps (both of which I found a bargain on) it's not a bad option. It's tricky to get in and out until you've got the hang of it, and trickier still with a sleeping bag nestled into it and a mosquito net to contend with, but that's just a learning curve. Once you've got the hang of that, it's actually a very comfortable way to sleep, a good distance off the ground and away from the critters, and a nice relaxing sway.If you're getting it for general lounging purposes, rather than sleeping in it, consider this five stars. It's nothing fancy, and it isn't big, but for this price you could get more than one if you'd like to hang next to a friend. I love how light and compact it is-- in fact, my straps came in a little carrying bag, and this even squeezes right in with them. The rope seems to be of a good enough quality that if you took it in during the nastier weather, especially snow or heavy rain, it would likely survive a few years of use. That's a bargain in my book!

I am fully aware this Hammock was only $10, but beware after laying in this Hammock with no shirt on, my Back broke out in welts where the rope touched my skin. I was only made aware of this after taking a shower and my back felt like a hundred bees stinging me and then I looked in the mirror to see what was happening to me. The hammock is pretty sturdy but cheap, not to be used over and over again. Good luck.

This hammock is exactly what I was looking for to put on the bow of my 26' sailboat. When tied directly from the steel rings this hammock fits between the mast and forestay of my boat perfectly. It looks like a straight line when someone is not lounging in it. It is not however very wide --i think wide enough. My arms can get in it, and I'm sure it will stretch. All hammocks stretch and it's day one. I've got it at about chest level and when I get in my rear end is about one foot from deck. If this ever breaks or gets disgusting from seagull sh**, for $10 I'll buy another in a heartbeat.

The hammock looks good and holds my son. 160+ pounds.Just be sure to put the hooks in a sturdy stud in the wall.

The material this hammock is made out of stretches significantly. After being in the hammock for 5-10 minutes, it sags about 12” (30 cm) lower than when you got into it. This means the hammock has to be hung so high that it’s difficult to get into, or else you’ll end up sitting on the ground after a few minutes. The netting is also spaced rather far apart, making it pretty uncomfortable.
