POWERTECPOWERTEC 70333 Dust Collector Bag, 21" x 31", 1 Micron Filter, For JET, Grizzly, Shop Fox, Wen, Harbor Freight, and POWERTEC DC-1512

This filter fits my Harbor Freight Central Machinery, 35-gallon dust collector. It is thick and well-made. I can't attest to how small dust particles it can filter out, but it seems to work well in my shop. It is easy to install and can be pressed down when not in use to save space.

Arrived in 2 days I think ... I just purchased a 2 hp Harbor Freight (5 micron) dust collector to replace my 1 hp Grizzly. I was concerned about the fit and how performance might be affected going from 5 microns to 1 micron filtering. Fit was fine. The bag seems much thicker than the standard HF bag. Good quality too.re: CFM / suction, I did a very unscientific test by seeing how effective an open, horizontal pipe would hold a package of sandpaper. With the 5 cfm bag, it would barely hold the package with 3 sheets. With the 1 micron it also barely held the same package of 3 sheets. Neither would hold 4 sheets and easily held 2 sheets. So, for me, not a lot of difference in suction / cfm. I was happy with that. How's that for hillbilly testing? ;-) See photos.

While it will fit on a HF 2hp dust collector, the bag is thicker than the stock 5 mil bag so the metal band holding it on will be stretched to the max and likely need a pliers to stretch the spring. It works great.

Great for dust. Improved system over the bag that came with it. Suction improved overall.

I purchased a Harbor Freight dust collector for my shop, and while it does a good job of keeping dust down, the really small stuff would get through the bag. Turning on the collector sent a large puff of fine dust into the air.This bag has really minimized the fine dust. It was easy to install - it's just a bit larger than the original one, but only in height - the circumference is a perfect match. This bag is stiffer, so it stands up - which is good since the bag hook on the collector is kind of useless with the height of this bag. I may add a shop air filter as well to really clean it up, but this has made a great improvement.

Fits and wook every year

A huge improvement over most! Heavy duty! It stays fully inflated after shutdown, as opposed to other brands using thinner materils which collapse in on themselves when not actively in use. Good sturdy straps on the top and the base which makes life easier when changing out or cleaning. It's also a 1 micron filter which should be a big improvement over the standard 5 micron filter bags which tend to leave a fine mist of dust covering every exposed surface and tool in your shop.I'm using my bag on a HF dust collector, and it's a great fit! I would recommend this filter to anyone looking for a better than stock replacement for their dust collector bag.

Great upgrade from the 5 micron unit that came with the dust collector initially.Price was very good.
