This will be a very durable product. Maybe a little too durable. We bought this for a middle schooler who wanted something that looked more like jewelry so it wouldn’t be as noticeable that it was a chewy. This is really, really thick. My child isn’t too pleased with that. They were hoping it would be a little less noticeable. It will definitely last, but they will only be able to use it at home. But it is very attractive design.

I'll be frank - I chew on everything. Straws, toothpicks, pens, sewing needles, you name it and it's probably accidentally found its way to my mouth. It's somewhat of a comfort thing for me, especially when I'm stressed. So to finally spare my pens and my teeth further damage, I decided to get one of these.My main concern was really in how obviously it stood out as a chew toy, and this one knocked it out of the park for me. I bought the silver one, and it honestly does look like it could be genuine metal. Nothing about it screams 'chew toy', so I don't have to worry about wearing it publicly.My second concern (admittedly tied to the first) was that it would easily hold tooth marks. I've bitten it just about as hard as I can without pain, and so far it shows no signs of marks.It is a little firmer than I was expecting, more the stiffness of a standard eraser than the soft rubber I thought it would be, but that's a plus for me, since it means increased durability. Like I said, I've tested it by biting it and thus far have seen no changes. I anticipate this will hold up for a long time.I also really like the length of the cord. It's long enough to easily chew on while still around my neck, and the length is perfect for a real necklace too. It's honestly very pretty - I might well have bought it as a regular necklace. If/when this one breaks, I think I'll be buying myself another.

Bought this for my anxiety and the thickness of the silicone was too much. It started to give me jaw pain and I needed to stop chewing it before I developed tmj. I also didn't like how I couldn't fit the whole thing in my mouth but I know it's normally made for children and that would be a safety issue if it was smaller. After two weeks I was able to chew clear through the silicone on the end of the leaf. Also, the edges of the leaf seemed a bit sharp for a smaller child. I'm an adult just experimenting to see if it would help my anxiety and it did while I had some use out of it. I couldn't tell you what this product is like for a child though.

I am an adult woman in her 30's and I've always had a bad biting habit. From my nails to clothes to to pens, anything that would provide me that chewing comfort went into my mouth. I read other reviews on this product and thought to give it a try.When I got the leaf, I was very impressed with how thick and solid it was. I personally like chewing on the end and edges, but I have tried all sides and I really enjoy it. And with the leaf details it is very discrete with bite marks. Basically 10/10, would def buy again.

Young adult recipient loved this and uses it often. Sadly after only about a week of use it has developed a crack. We would like to purchase more in the future to have as back ups because it is very pretty and looks like a typical piece of jewelry as not to call unnecessary attention to it. It can be worn with jeans and a T-shirt or a dress and pair well with either.My only suggestion is- contingent on the user and their developmental abilities, be mindful of any breakdown in the integrity of the chewie material so that it doesn’t pose a choking hazard.Final thought- will be hopefully purchasing additional pieces in the future because of the comfort and release this one has provided thus far. Hopefully the future ones will withstand longevity.

Boyght this for a friend and they love it. Its a great way for an adult who needs something but wants it t9 look nice.
