Great product, works perfectly..

I had been looking for a mandoline slicer without breaking the bank. I found a recipe for 'onion skinnies'. (thin sliced onion for onion rings). Glad I found this one. Others are cheap plastic.This worked perfect the first time out. It is too good but not complaining, just keep. your fingers away from the blade! The different cutting blades are built-in, just by rotating a knob.Makes great smooth slices on a wide enough platform (abt 5") for larger onions or wide vegetables.BTW, the onion skinnies were perfect.

Very nice cutting, and the adjustable dial makes it easy to make the best cuts.

Great mandoline. Blade is sharp, works well and gives a nice consistent cut. The gloves are definitely appreciated.

The gloves that came with this are for small hands. It is of mediocre sturdiness since the black parts are plastic. Cleanup is a chore but it comes apart so it can be cleaned.

This slicer is designed exactly like the last one I owned, it does not have settings that hold the thickness of the slice in place so you have to continually watch and make sure it is not moving and letting the slices get thicker. It would be much better if the dial was something that clicked into place and held. Also, as it gets more use, the left side of the platform will become loose and the thickness of the slices will be thicker on the left. I have yet to find the perfect mandoline slicer. But for now, this one will suffice.I like the leg stand on the back of the device, it makes it stable and easy to use.
