I did have to contact customer support as I couldn't locate the section to screw on the wall - it was simply that the chrome cover (that hides any screws) was covering it. ATD Trading responded quickly to my query, which was reassuring.The glass bottle is held very securely with a plastic band. I looked at several reviews for soap dispensers before choosing this one and the three common problems seemed to be a loose bottle, rust and a gunged-up plunger. This one won't rust.Overall I'm very pleased with this one and would recommend it.

3 years ago I was looking for stainless steel accesories for my apartment bathroom, and every type I bought went rusty until I found this brand, Kapitan. I bought 2 toothbrush holders and a towel rail. 3 years on they still look good with no sign of rust. So when I bought a new house this summer I knew I would buy more Kapitan bathroom accessories. I wanted a wall mounted soap dispenser and I was really pleased to find Kapitan made one that was the ideal size next to the small hand basin. The soap dispenser was easy to fit and comes with easy to follow instructions. The customer service is also excellent and fast in replying to my questions.

Rust already!…maybe 5 weeks use and not even lots of use!! It was delivered 27th April, was put up a week or later and the photo taken 21st June. If it weren’t for the rust I’d give it 4 stars as I like it but the capacity smaller than I’d like, hence star would’ve been off fir that. Supposed to be stainless steel….monkey metal more like!!!

A few years ago I bought another make of soap dispenser, very heavy quality, all polished metal clad pump and soap reservoir. It had to be fully fixed to the wall and not detachable, so requires filling in situ after removing the pump. Because the sides are metal the contents level is not visible and also the capacity is very low so it requires constant refilling. It was too easy to overfill and have liquid soap dripping everywhere. I went back to the DIY superstore to find they no longer stock that particular bathroom accessories range so I could not buy the frosted glass detachable version which was similar to the Kapitan. I opted to buy this model from Amazon instead, which hopefully was a decent choice. All the external surfaces of the pump head are clad in stainless steel whereas a lot of the alternatives appear to be just chrome plated plastic which is not very durable. Even in some of the photos on Amazon the chrome on plastic coating on some models look flaky. The pump on this dispenser delivers the soap in a gentle blob unlike other that spit the liquid at you and sometimes nearly miss your hand and the basin altogether. The one downside of this Kapitan range is that the wall bracket is less substantial than my previous soap dispenser mentioned above. Kapitan do provide screws and plugs for fixing or an adhesive 3M pad for a non drilling attachment to the wall. I would definitely not rely on a sticky glue patch to do the job despite it's claimed 1Kg load bearing capacity, and certainly not for a glass bottle soap dispenser that is regularly receiving a downwards load when operated. The 3M pad was missing from my package so maybe the manufacturer was implying it was not really recommended for this application.

Product looks nice on the wall albeit a bit wobbly when dispensing soap. Had the product 6 months and it’s already rusted and parts broken off the spout. Poor quality. Would not recommend due to durability. I have contacted the company twice by email and have still not received a reply even though I received an acknowledgment that they got my message.
