Got the axolotl ornament as a surprise for my daughter, she loves it. Very cute.

Bought as Christmas stocking stuffer for my daughter who likes Minecraft and axolotl’s for her own small Christmas tree. She likes it very much. Little leg pieces are somewhat delicate. first one found elsewhere was shipped without the hallmark box like this one came in and just on hanging cardboard hanger with broken off leg on arrival. So I appreciate this one came in the original Hallmark box sealed and great for storing in.

I bought one of these at Target then found them for a better price on Amazon. Sent two to my niece and nephew, who loved them! It's made well, and the face and little pixelated legs are so cute! I originally got this to use as a Christmas tree ornament but ended up hanging it up in my office, and I've gotten several compliments on it.

My son and I choose 1 new Christmas ornament each, every year. This year, I felt bad, I found this and ordered it for him. He really does love it though. He’s happy I found it. I may still have to take him to buy an ornament because no matter how happy he is with it. I feel like I’ve ruined our tradition.Any way enough self wallowing.This ornament is CUTE! It’s got a nice weight to it. Colors are nice.The downside: the “flair” on the body, including the feet & tail are a thick cardboard material. It’s not of the same material of the body at all. Do not let your kiddos rip open the box or lose the plastic shields. You will need to keep all of the packaging for storage.

I kid has been all about Minecraft so this was the perfect ornament for this year. It is sturdy, not too heavy for hanging on a tree, and the packaging protects it. The only downside is something many other reviewers mentioned, it needs some shine or sparkle. Given that this is a Hallmark item I would expect it to look a little less like I painted it myself.
