This file gave a smooth finish to my natural nails while still feeling gentle. I’ve had it for months and the file still works and looks new. I ordered a number of these glass files. They are so nice to have and work much better and quicker than regular emery boards. If you run vertically over nail, it leaves a nice shine to the nail. Be careful to fil gently over the top of the nail. I will use mine one a week to keep my natural nails looking great with a beautiful shine. I've gifted these to my girlfriends and they love it!

A good nail file is hard to find, but when you need it you need it. I got this as a stocking stuffer, and it’s the gift that keeps on giving. I’ve never had a glass nail file before, mainly I use stainless steel. The glass is not as harsh but does a great job. I think the stainless steel is coarse finish whereas the glass is a lot more smooth finish. I highly recommend it, and will buy more for my purse, car, and travel.

I’ll admit that I am not a nail person. I’ve never had a professional manicure or pedicure, never worn artificial nails, and own no nail polishes. But like every other human, I want to keep my nails healthy and in a decent shape. This glass nail file works great for me. It makes quick work of reshaping my nails in a pleasing form and easily smooths any snags or sharp areas of my fingernails. I’m honestly impressed at how easy it is to use. I’m not sure why only one side is for filing while the other side is smooth - are you supposed to use the smooth side somehow? It doesn’t really matter to me, as the rough side does the job very well. I’m not sure why people don’t like it, but maybe the variation in hardness and shaping of the individual nails makes a difference. I am very satisfied with its performance on my boring nails.

I bought this purely because it did not have a pointed end and it came in a case. I didn’t realize it was glass or going to be so cool (shows how much I paid attention while ordering) but I am glad I got this! This thing easily brings your nails to a shined finish (honestly looks like you’ve painted clear coat it’s so smooth) and doesn’t snag on your nails or cuticles like others have in my experience. It quickly shaped my nails down smoothly without any snag and minimal dust. 10/10 recommend!

I'm not a fan of a one sided nail file. What wasted space! The other side could have been a more aggressive surface instead of smooth glass. Missed opportunity here. For the money I guess it's nice enough and in a sturdy case, but I would prefer one with a dual side.
