"Compatible with BMW Horn" version does NOT fit 2016 BMW X3 (F25) horn
This would have been a great way to replace my failed BMW horn if the connector matched, but the adapter was about half the size of the actual BMW connector. I ended up cutting off the adapter and using IDC's (Insulation Displacement Connector) instead.

Doesn't fit - won't plug in
I bought this for the smaller plug - it's exactly what I need to install an aftermarket horn on my 2011 BMW R1200RT. However, the contacts in this plug assembly are blades, and the contacts in the plug on the bike are square pins. The plugs are made by TE connectivity, and the pins have never been anything but square. I've just spent half an hour filing the blades down and I'm not there yet but maybe another half hour of filing and it will fit. Wish me luck.

Pins do NOT line up with Socket.
In order for this product to work, The pins had to be bent about 1/16" to insert into the Honda socket

Plug and play
Got in a front end collision and needed horns, not buying 200$ oem ones so this cable and whatever i can find off amazon did wonders
