Good addition to the Shield
I have tried a number of different accessories to get a better grip on my M&P Shield. I have to admit that my favorite was the Pachmayr Tactical Grip Glove because it provides a larger girth to the grip to fit my hand better plus the better non-slip surface. The problem with the Grip Glove is that it slips and doesn't stay in place. I tried a number of different things like tape and glue, but they just make a mess and they don't really hold the Grip Glove in place for very long. So after reading the positive reviews for these rubberized Talon grips, I decided to try it.It installs very easily and is cut precisely to fit the Shield. A bit of time and repitition with a heat gun, and this grip "tape" is very securely installed on the Shield. I think it can be removed, but I would have to deliberately want to do that. The problem with the Talon grip is that it does not add much (really any appreciable) girth to the grip. As most Shield owners know, it's a skinny grip and takes some time getting use to it.Anyway, as a lark, I put the Grip Glove over the Talon grip and lo and behold, the Grip Glove doesn't slip anymore. It does rotate slightly, but the big thing is that it no longer slips down to interfere with a magazine change. The small bit of rotation is easily adjusted, and that seems to be so slight that I only readjust it after a complete range session. This might be a waste to a lot of you, but I'm quite happy with this. Granted, the Talon Grip itself is a very good product and improves the ability to have a better purchase on the gun even with sweaty hands, so by itself it is well worth it. Like most have already reported, it is a good product and something I would recommend.

Exponential Improvement in Fit for the M&P Shield
The rubberized Talon Grip for my Smith & Wesson M&P Shield were literally transformational with regard to fit and function as a concealed weapon. The Shield is a good weapon, but even with the extended magazine I found the single-stack design just didn't fit my hand as well as I'd have liked. I toyed with a few other options (a neoprene sleeve, etc.) but settled on the Talon grips on the advice of a friend. While he recommended the granuate texture, the rubberized texture is perfect for me; it provides a sure grip and just a tiny bit of cushioning. The grip applies easily and I don't expect any issues with peeling. Following the directions (alcohol wipe, heating the applied grip with a heat gun), the application was simple and quick; the adhesive cured immediately and held up perfectly during a range trip the next day.I did purchase the grip from the extended magazine directly from Talon; their customer service was prompt and the handwritten "thank you" on the invoice was a nice touch. Overall, this is a must-have for any polymer pistol ... I've already got one on order for my Beretta Px4.

Excellent grip easy to install
What a great product for my M&P. That was the only thing I always complained about was the grip, it felt like it would fly out of your hand if you sweated just a little. This rubber grip was perfect

Really improved the grip on my M&P Shield! The installation was easier than I thought. 100% reccomend these!
Heard about Talon Grips from a YouTube channel I like, and I'm really glad I did. When I first got my M&P Shield, the grip was really slippery in my hands, plus this was the first compact pistol I've ever owned. I put the rubberized Talon Grips on and it's made a huge difference and I feel more relaxed while shooting because I'm not white-knuckling the grip. It really stays put in my hands but it's not too rough to irritate them. The installation was easier than I thought it would be. I'm horrible at putting things like decals or cut out stickers on stuff, so I was nervous when I started getting it all lined up. I followed the included instructions very closely and it was easy to understand. I just went very slowly and got it right the first time, which for me is a miracle. I should have bought a lottery ticket that day, because seriously... I'm HORRIBLE at this kind of stuff. Along some of the lines where there are cut outs I used a a small slotted screwdriver to help guide the openings into place without stretching the rubber. Then I pressed it all down really good and used a heat gun on the lowest setting to finish it. (Held it several inches away to make sure it wasn't too hot.) Followed the directions, and everything went well! I really recommend these. Especially if you have a Shield because the grip is so slick on those.

Useful help for M&P Shield
After mounting specific ones for G42, G43 and VP9, was able to get a ported M&P Shield. Ordered Talon and Arachnigrip for the Shield (same regular Shield kits fit both). The Arachnigrip helps my old hands grip the slide to rack it, and is granular, but not a problem with usual shooting sessions (use of thumb and forefinger to grip, but see below for related issue). But testing granular on a friend's pistol handle grip rubbed my hand a bit raw, so ordered the black rubber Talon for the ported Shield. Concern with installation (again, my old hands) proved incorrect; installed quite easily. And just like the other three pistols, this grip helps in hand and while firing, to provide a stable, confident grip. Mild soap and water will clean it, t-shirt to wipe it off when cleaning seems right. Due to an issue with racking the slide (again, my old hands), sold the unit. New owner and his wife both love it. I really like the ported Shield, and with the Talon and Arachnigrip, wish I could get it back. But my hand issue (racking the slide) does not allow. (I could pull/push the slide 3/4 of the way back, but the other 1/4 was needed to fully rack or manually set the slide lock. Not sure why that last little bit is so hard, but others had no problem, so must be my hand damage).
