work great, watch on YouTube how to install.
These work great. I was able to beam internet from my house to another building on my property. I did have to watch some YouTube videos to figure out how to get them set up and make them work. The instructions that come with the equipment are not that straightforward.

Nice units but NOT pre-configured
Seller said this was pre-configured but to what that is was not revealed.I did a hard reset and configured them myself. They both needed a update on firmware, being over two years old installed.Once I did the reset everything worked well. Did the configure to pair them and all came up.Nice units but do not believe they come configured.

Disappointing
The thought that these units are reconfigured is a misnomer. They are two units in a plastic bag with factory settings. Fortunately, they are not hard to configure.I could not get the units to communicate no matter what elevation or angle I tried. I was only trying to go 200 feet to an outbuilding.I thought that resetting them and trying again might work. I couldn't remember the IP number for one unit and pressed the reset button. It broke off.I then looked at the other unit and the Poe adapter had stopped working. Unplugged and plugged back in. Same result.

Great and Affordable Product
I have installed several of these and they work great and are easy to configure. I have just installed two in the last week. They provide good coverage for short and long distances (i.e. over a 1/4 mile for the ones that I have used.)

Setup is bear, but worth it in the end
Read the reviews of this point to point. They did come "preconfigured", but not the way i wanted to use them. Watched several youtube videos on how to set these up. Both came labled with ip, user and password on the inside of the lid. Hooked them up to the network and programmed them for my application. I ran a test with the access point on my dresser inside aimed at the wall towards my shop out side. My shop is just shy of 300ft away from the outside wall where the AP was. Hooked up the satellite reciver on the front wall of my shop kinda aimed at the AP. My wifi speed test was 55mbps down and 25 up. Moved the satellite inside my cinder block shop and ran the test again. No change. I will be mounting these correctly outside aimed at each other, but they will work aimed through a wall. You will lose speed, but it will work.

Ethernet at the boat dock.
I found a cat5 on the side of the house(originally meant for a security camera) and mounted the access point. The client went on a boat dock 100 yds away. It has been working reliably for months now. On the dock I have a wireless access point, 8MP camera, smart home controller, smart home light switches, and IP controlled surge protector that will auto-reboot the client if ping test to the router fails. All connected just fine.

Buyer beware
This product is NOT pre-configured, I paid extra to have the time-saving benefit of it being pre-configured. I ended up paying more and then having to spend an hour programming it myself. The ubiquity product is excellent but this vendor is less than honest.
