Decent gaming chair that stands the test of time
I’m writing this review as a long term report after having this chair for a year. Since covid I’m now a home worker so have sat in this chair for several hours a day, every working day, so it’s had a lot of use. I’m 6’ 3” and around 100kg, but it’s still supportive & comfortable after all that use, the base cushion has sagged slightly over time as expected, but that’s not an issue. The neck pillow I like and gives support, the lumbar cushion I removed as I find it makes you sit too far forward. Not sure I’d pay the current full price, but for the price I paid (£99.99) it was an absolute bargain, so keep an eye out for another deal as prices fluctuate a lot.***Update 1***It has been nearly 3 years and the chair is still going strong, although starting to show slight signs of wear & tear, but I am still impressed!***Update 2***After 3.5 years the seat base probably needs replacing, but Brazen sell spare parts and a new base is only £40 so this will give me a few more years of use!

A great gaming chair!
I've got to say so far this gaming chair is hard to fault! Bought as a gift for a child, it's fairly easy to assemble and is by all accounts really comfortable with good back and neck support. It also looks pretty cool and is pretty stable (hasn't toppled over so far!). All in all, a very happy child and a good buy!

Was initially comfortable but broke after a year
Purchased for £160. Set up was fairly simple however after a few months, screws and such would come off. This was fixable. Around a year in, it started becoming wonky and now it has completely broke. The metal thing under the chair split. I purchased in Feb 2020. Not worth £160.

Sturdy and comfortable.
All round a pretty good chair, let down only by average instructions. I can never understand why manufacturers insist on the smallest of diagrams that almost require a magnifying glass. Assembly really requires two people at times. No details are provided for attaching the lumbar and neck cushions. The lumbar cushion is quite firm and I find I don't actually need it but the neck cushion is useful. The arms adjust well but in use feel a little loose.Generally I'm satisfied but a little improvement with the instructions would be good.

Seems alright
Update: a customer service experience to aim for.The chair's piston was acting up from the start, but got worse after 4 months of use - long after the return policy ended. so I emailed the customer support and they sent me a replacement item no questions asked, and I didn't have to ship them the old one.Best part - the item got lost in shipping and they sent ANOTHER one. I haven't installed it yet, but even if it has issues I know the support lads got my back. The communication was responsive and clear at all times and I would definitely recommend this product and the company.Original:Just received the chair today - a huge improvement over my previous generic ikea one. Based on previous reviews I've set very high expectations for the chair and gonna update this review on whether it was really worth it or not.Looks nice and has a sturdy build that exceeded my expectations. The downsides:Had a few scratches on the metal parts( which are not visible) and a little chalk stain on the cushion. The instructions are fairly clear, but I still didn't make out if the washers go on the inside or out. Also smells a bit like fake leather.

A quality, sturdy and heavy chair
Purchased for use while working on the laptop as my previous chair was years old and beginning to fall apart. It arrived ahead of the stated delivery times which was a bonus and the supplier was super quick in responding to a question.A point that maybe worthy of note is the box in which the chair is packed is very large and weighs just over 20kg.However,the chair is made of quality materials and is surprisingly heavy. You get pictograph style assembly instructions which are easy to follow and all screws etc. are provided. You don't need any tools of your own as an "allen" key is supplied. Assembly is not difficult but from a personal point of view it would be better if 2 people were to do it as the back and seat when assembled are quite heavy and unwieldy making it difficult to position on the gas strut. It took me about an hour from unpacking to final assembly, but I am knocking on a bit in age and am also left handed which puts me at a disadvantage in this right handed world :-(In conclusion, I'm very happy with this chair, it's comfortable and the raise/lower/tilt mechanism is smooth. For those who are concerned about weight capacity I am 5ft 9ins and 84kg.I would recommend this chair to anyone who is looking for a quality product that should last a very long time.

Very poor quality
Bought this chair at the end of August and already one of the legs have snapped. The build quality is very poor for a £200 + product. If you need a chair for use for long periods, avoid this.EDIT: I have since spoken to BraZen and they have been excellent. They have sent out a new base, but i still say they should build them with metal bases. I have upped my rating to 3 starts due to the excellent customer service.

The best chair you can get at this price point, especially when it's half price.
After reading a lot of the reviews here I feel I must give my honest opinion for it.Some people complain about lack of features, lack of premium feeling etc. I agree, but have a think how much you are paying for it!!! This is not a £500+ chair. I got it for £110, and at this price point, there isn't really anything I can complain about. It has all the features to be a good gaming chair.About installation, it shipped with all necessary tools and a simple manual. The key is not to screw to the end at the beginning, but just screw in a little bit for alignment. After all screws are secured, you can drive all of them in and it'll be perfect.Someone also complained the lift is too far behind. I'd say they should go back to school to re-learn their physics. If the contact point is in the front, you'll certainly fall over when you lay flat when the back is at the furthest position. So stop complaining and enjoy this perfect product!
