These tools are fantastic! I use them with different crafts I do, not for anything to do with dental care. These tools are great for use with clay, but also sone of the sharper, more scraping type tools are very effective for scrimshaw! This set of tools is very convenient to pack away and keep with the rest of my craft tools. There are also tools effective for making contours and things like dimples and eye sockets. These tools have a great grip to them, and are very comfortable to hold for a longer amount of time.

I am a retired surgeon and have used similar instruments in the operating room for decades. these instruments do not feel as good as the ones that I used in the operating room, not even close. I did not order them to use them in surgery. I do a lot of repair work these days, on broken items and cleaning and doing maintenance on household items. These come in very handy for that kind of work. They also help me a lot with maintaining, cleaning and repairing my fishing reels. I also use the to untangle and loosen up bird-nests on my fishing spools. The small spring scissors are a hit with my wife's sewing and embroidery hobby. The pick-up tweezer does not grasp strongly enough when needed and the Kelly-like clamps are not strong enough either. Let's not kid ourselves, I would not like these in surgery but as a hobbyist they are very valuable.

The media could not be loaded. I AM NOT A DENTIST. But I am a Custom Jewelry Maker/Repair Tech. so I use these kinds of tools for so many different little jobs on my bench. From snipping small gauge wire to setting semi-precious stones these tools work when no other tool will. They are very nice quality for my purposes and will last a long time. Highly recommended for any workbench. You will find many uses for them.

So this is a decent set of tools and I got this for a reason different than most people would. I like to work on small tiny electronics and sometimes I need different precision tools to do things and this has a couple of items in it that I found useful for that reason. For others who would use this for Dentistry no idea how good this is but I will say that they do seem to be made of decent material and they are pretty well made. Again I'm using this on a tiny Electronics along with the soldering iron so my purpose for this is quite different.
