It hurts a bit in tge beginning, but not as much as an ingrown toenail. My circulation has returned, i xan walk geal to toe, my feet stipped pins and needle feeling, back doesnt hurt as much cuz better posture walking and standing right. I used the plastic glue on strips to behin straightening process. Doesnt hurt anymore after few days. A week and nails are straighter than in picture. Before these braces, my nails started more curved than a letter c, bleeding, puss, pain. Sorry i didnt take before pics.

I managed to use this product about 4 times before it broke. I was a bit uncertain when I bought it because of the color. It did not seem to be made out of steel, but some other product. Turns out that is the case.I have thick toenails, which is one of the reasons they are ingrowing, and this tool does not seem to be able to cope.I soaked my feet for a long period before each use, so it was not a case of improper usage. Just not sturdy.On this occasion when it broke, I have been sitting at my PC for upwards of 2 hours with my feet in a foot spa.But when I tightened the device, the end bent, as per the photo.While it was working, it did produce pain relief. I think a pain of long nosed pliers might have done the same thing though. And that is what I will be using from now on I think. perhaps if i had used the pliers, and then fitted the device to hold the nail in place while it dried, then it might not have snapped.I could not fit the little wire springs to my nails, the ingrowing is too pronounced i think.

I purchased based off the reviews only. the clip is not straight and it will not latch on. In addition it is so very painful. My toe is curved in and I get pedis and they cut the nail so once cut there is hardly a curve. Thought I could put it on then but it infected my foot and it was not worth it. I wanted to return because I was out of town and did not get my package until I returned but they closed the window in a very short time and I could not return.

With regular use, even the most tightly curled pincer nail can become a brand new nail. Follow the directions carefully, soften the nails longer than you believe you need, apply the device and submerge your foot in warm water with the device on the nail. After three uses, I started to see a difference. Being born with a pincer nail, I was highly skeptical that anything could ever be done. A podiatrist said the nail would have to be removed and it would never grow back again. With regular use, daily if you can, you will see results. Pair this with an approved insole, and replace all of your shoes that cause this chronic problem of pincer nails and ingrown toenail and you are on your way to corrected and beautiful looking nails. If you don't use this regularly until the nail is flattened, it will return to the pincer shape. The added wires are intended to wear over the top of a broadened toenail and they have hooks to fasten to each side of the nail. Be aware of their curve shape to select the right one, the curve is intended to correct each type of toenail you wish to correct. It can be uncomfortable when you first start this process, just keep working at it. The average toenail can take 3-6 months to grow out, the nail bed has to repair itself to a new shape as well. Eat plenty of karatin and gelatin products for nail strengthening, and make sure your nails are healthy enough before you begin this process. But this product does work as advertised and I do recommend it.

I used the little torture device looking thing once while soaking my foot in warm water for 30 minutes. Afterwards I put one of those little springs across my nail and left it there. I've had it on for about a month and a half. My nail is normal-looking now. I'm going to leave it on for a couple more months and just move it down as the nail grows.

While the product arrived promptly, and is as described, I was not able to get hooks under the nail. This is due to it being TOO FLAT of a hook, and NOT ABLE to grab the edge of the nail like it needs to. Even the largest of the wire braces were too small to fit on the nail this was needed for. Will continue to search for a better product than this.

This device wasn't easy to use. It tore the nail more often than doing a mild bend.Plus if not tight enough, it will fall off.....This is how the nails got tore

I think this just isn’t going to work for me. I can’t even get the tool under the nail without extreme pain, I’ve tried twice and the first time I got it under on both sides but it just hurt too much to continue. I was afraid I was breaking the skin underneath and I really don’t want to get an infection. So I tried the springs because I see a lot of people on YouTube using them alone, but I don’t think there’s a size in here that’s right for my nail. The second largest size will stay on one of my big toes, but it doesn’t lay flat and I’m not sure it’s helping. The next size down is way too short and there’s no way I could get it on my nail. I don’t want to give this product a bad review because it seems to have worked really well for others, and everything seems to be good quality, I’m just really sad it isn’t working for me.
