The cloth is rouge-colored but does not contain any actual rouge or other polishing compound. Did not work on 14K gold or sterling silver jewelry.

My Jewelery was looking dull and old. So I bought this rouge rag because I heard professionals use it. It was actually easy to use and livened up my jewelry. I decided to use it every time for a quick shine before I wear a piece. I would recommend it. Makes you feel more well groomed, like a shiny star LOL!!!

Bought to replace my 60 year old rouge & polish cloth I inherited from my dad. The thing is that the 60 year old professional rouge cloth still is good for a while longer, and the "replacement" cloth is disappointing, but not useless. Typically so. I was spoiled by quality and the expectation of quality is not realistic in the current environment.

I needed one of these cloths as I make jewelry. I needed something to polish up the finished product and rid it of fingerprints, smudges and whatever else that dulls the beads and findings.Well, this cloth is perfect for what I wanted it for. It removed all the smudges and fingerprints and left the finished product ready for sale. The 6 x 8 size is perfect for easy handling as anything larger would be bulky. I can also use this cloth for my own jewelry to clean it after wearing.The price is right too and I could not be happier with this cloth!

I purchased this cloth to clean and polish my rings at home. I wear a Sterling Silver ring on my right hand and a white gold ring on my left. It cleans and shines both very well! One suggestions that I would make is to use a rubber glove (or be very careful) when using the red side. It is rouge, so it WILL stain your fingers/clothes. It washes off of your fingers after several washes, but I haven't ever tried to remove it from clothing. Awesome product!
