These are wondrous, magical, and just a high quality set of lights. They are definitely one of my most favorite items that I have ever purchased from Amazon. I have had four sets of these hanging lights in the front bay window of my house for over 5 1/2 years. They have been lit up every single night since via a timer. I hung them to provide me comfort after a significant loss. Then going forward during the pandemic, various holidays, and constant admiration from neighbors and friends, I just never took them down. They automatically light up signaling the day is coming to a close, and are a nice welcome home when it’s dark. They have been a lovely source of warm golden light. In all this time, there has not been any bulbs that have gone out, the cords/strings are in perfect shape and they were not affected by power surges or outages, indoor temperatures, or being in direct sunlight for over 5 1/2 years. I have had to replace the timer I added, but the lights have never waivered. I did not use the remote that comes with the light sets, only the day/night timer I purchased separately. During the day, they are translucent, still look attractive and have a low space profile. Now, before the gift of these lights is revealed to you, just know the unboxing is going to test you in a big way. Just keep thinking about the result. Give yourself patience, time, space, snacks, or whatever you need to keep calm and untangle on. Being a source of light isn’t easy. You can do this.

I have used these for two seasons now. I hang them outside on the porch for the holidays. They have held up well and are very festive. It is difficult to untangle them the first time. I put each strand into a separate ziplock bag when I put it away. That makes it so I don't need to untangle them again.

This is my second order of these beautiful star lights. 2 years ago I bought these for my sliding door and they look fantastic!What I didn't like is that these lights come in a box, but are completely knotted and tangled up. It took me a good amount of patience and ca. 30 minutes of my life to detangle them.This new order arrived today, in a pretty box and completely knotted. Ugh.Here's the best way to untangle them: First plug them in to see if the lights are working. Unplug again and leave the cord that goes into outlet alone for now, it comes tied together and it's easier to just keep it like that for now. Spread the stars out on your bed and untangle a bit. We know that there's a main cord that has the little white hooks on them, find the beginning and untangle the first 2 stars, a small star and a large star, and place them into a Walmart plastic bag, tie it loosely. Untangle the next 2 stars, following the main cord with the white hooks and place them in a bag. And so on. That way they stay untangled and separate from the rest and when you hang the white hooks on your window, the lightweight bags with the stars in them are so easy to open and you can take out the pretty stars without getting them knotted again.The remote works well, you have to aim it to the sensor on the plug. You can dim the lights, there are a lot of functions from steady light, twinkle, etc. to choose from.I love these pretty lights in my window.

The media could not be loaded. These lights are just what I was looking for, they decorate even when turned off, they have many lighting modes so you don't get bored, I love the timer so I don't have to worry about turning them on and off, I put them on the balconies and they look spectacular, it's true that some are a little difficult to untangle but if you do it between 2 people in a few minutes they are ready to hang.

These are absolutely gorgeous in person, though they are indeed a tangled mess as others have noted. We bought four sets, and it probably took us about 45 minutes to detangle them all. But once they were up, we loved the look. The remote is also a little tricky - make sure you can see the light on the transmitter and point the remote directly at it. If anything blocks it, it won't work. Not a deal-breaker for us.The only real problem is that they're set to automatically cycle through the different patterns each time they come on. We have ours on an extension cord with a timer, set to come on at dusk each night during the holiday season, and each time, they reset to cycling through the patterns instead of staying on steadily, which is our preference. If you're turning these on manually each time, it's no problem, since you can just choose the pattern you prefer. But be aware that they will reset each time they're turned off. For that, I'm knocking off one star.

I love these lights. Have them inside my enclosed front porch. Can choose different settings for blinking and brightness. I had them fairly bright during the Christmas season and have them turned down and not so bright the rest of the year. I love the automatic on and off feature. If you have a power loss the timing will be off after the power returns. Just turn it off and when correct on time comes just turn it back on. Have to redo dimness settings, but it is very easy. Very nice porch lights year around.

I wanted to have more Christmas lights this year, but didn’t want the hassle of putting up lights on the house so I opted to hang these star lights in my windows instead. It brought just the right amount of warmth and festiveness to the holidays. Love that they have a timer so I don’t have to worry about turning them on and off each day. Very happy with this purchase!

After untangling the wires (not an easy job) I loved these light, but sometimes they bling, sometimes they just stay on all the time, and sometimes they just quit working. Very very very poor quality. I am so disappointed,
